The C7 Corvette has really grown on me since its introduction. Offering a convertible with the GS package is a really sweet combination for enthusiasts like me who want both crazy and calm. No longer behind the technology curve, this generation Corvette is packed with all the latest techno-gadgetry, but still allows you to turn off driver's assist to scare the heck out of yourself if need be. Nice review!

well done steve! im pretty amazed at the mic you're using... there was no wind noise during the short clip in the middle. maybe the interior of the corvette is super quiet.

Absolutely! Good pick up on that one. I noticed the same exact thing. She can be a little timid around the sports cars.

The Stingray is a better value for sure.

Mike Mitchell I got a 2017 C7 Grand Sport for 80 grand its hand assembled in KY it pulls 1.16 lateral g 0 to 60 in 3.6 secs 60 to 0 in 91 ft and still gets 30 mpg on the highway every interior surface is nappa leather carbon fiber and suede microfiber my brakes are giant BREMBO CARBON CERAMICS and my shocks adjust to the road 1000 times a second so what is your point??????????

I owned a 2013 grand sport and now a 2017 grand sport these cars are really special I call them the ultimate gt car they do everything well power braking handling great gas mileage and ease of maintenance Jay Leno said it best bulletproof cars plus its a chevy you got a problem take it to the dealership and you got exotic sports car value at chevy colbalt price to fix my friends Ferrari minimum 3,500 service fee evey 5,000 miles.

Unless I missed it in the review, any major changes between 2017 & 2017 models?

94k is steep and may cause thoughts to lean towards the 707hp..if u know what i mean...but its good to see and hear that the american chevy flag has now made a corvette that can compete with anything out there..good review steve

LT1 has zero heat soak problems. That's the supercharged LT4. Educate yourself

I paid $57,000 for a new 2016 Z51 3LT Stingray. Coupe....... Keep your grand sport.

Man o' man everyone is pushing to buy the 2018, I am getting the idea 2018 is a looser the way it is being pushed, specially when the 2019 starts production in 1/2018.

Steve, I thoroughly enjoy your reviews. But I have to say, at that much bling, call me a cheapskate and go for the Charger Hellcat.

The Grand Sport is nice but it should have had a major horsepower bump over the base car, somewhere in-between the base and the Z06, at least something like 550 hp.

base price for the coupe Grand Sport is $65k, a bargain

Base price for the vert is only about 70k, plus chevy has discounts on Vettes now. I got 10k off my GS coupe
