joan hernandez ciriza correct, it is subjective but... when RS cars were first released they only came as Avants. Only in America does the sedan outsell the Avants.

Mooste they call it a "sportback" because the word wagon doesn't sound as attractive to the American market. Let's be honest, it's an RS3 Avant plain and simple.

I have a 2019 RS3 and love it. I equip my car with winter tires/rims during the winter and she drives through anything. Would I buy 1 again, Yes however for model tear 2022 this car is not available here in Canada.

Good review and great car. The only thing is that the black package would look waaaaaaaaay better on this colour. It actually looks like its out of place with the silver trim

Did the aB&O audio rattle due to the bass? My S3 rear speaker parcel shelf cover rattles, the car is 4 days old its so annoying. I am dissapointed.

From what I can remember, no, the speakers did not rattle. My brother and I have been in a lot of Audi's (with the B&O Audio) and it hasn't really been a problem we've seen. Either the bass is really, really turned up or it could just be a defective system. Personally, I'd take it back to the dealer and see if they could try and get it fixed. Hope that helps!

i dAILY A C63 and my girl daily drives a new s3. I must say the s3 well..there really isnt anything else like it available. An awd sedan with good power and plenty of tuning potential and the most important fact..its fucking nimble!!! I have seen APR tuned stage 2+ S3's running some insane numbers faster than a new GTR !! It's almost the perfect car for someone looking for a nimble sedan with awd and its rear isnt all that small pretty spacious. Way more so than anything else available. Lets not forget the tech it comes with either the rolling wifi and auto navigation between phone and car. Lots of fantastic points. Nothing like it out there even bmw doesn't have something that nimble in sedan form. I mean what a car! So i can only imagine what the rs3 will bring. Iam def test driving one asap !! I just ordered a stage 2 APR kit for her car too......heheh....she doesnt know......im going to scare the shit out of her. Get it put on before she gets abck fromher trip and not tell her...hehehehe everyone keep your mouths shut hhe:)

Audi needs to step up and put cool seats already. Bought a brand new TTS and my friends 2010 Lexus has cool seats........

That is actually optional on the RS3 for $300. Our model didn't have that package for some reason. Thanks for watching!

+Brian Schoedel There are surprisingly quite a few options that can be added to the RS3's and this example was missing most of them (like drivers assistance equipment for example).

I own a car with digital gauges (2016 Volvo XC90) and to be honest Im starting to appreciate analog more. It just works, and I feel like putting a LCD screen is actually a cost saving measure in their part to a point. It's just easier to make.

What size are those rims

Why do you call it a motor when it's an engine? I drove one of these yesterday along with a TT RS. Terrific cars.

This is one hot lil Audi! But it's hella expensive to be so small. I luv it tho!

8:50 all s line a3s come with dynamic indicators on the facelift models (unless thats not the case in the US!)

I'm surprised that the tires are so narrow.

Awesome review, very "saabkyle-ish". Although I do have one minor correction to make, the glove box is NOT roomy. It's clearly the same pathetic drawer that the A3 and S3 have so if the car has the tech package, then expect all of the hardware to consume much of the space.

Magnus Nylander if I'm not mistaken the car automatically goes into comfort mode when idle on park unless setup otherwise which he hasn't...would have loved to hear it I'm dynamic mode because apparently the US rs3 sounds less poppy and crackly than the eu one which if true, would be sad. I hope someone gives us a dynamic revving with the sport exhaust so we can see if that's true about the US version

Yeah that's correct. Audis cars does that for some lame reason. I think they've done changes do the exhaust note some how. It sounds less poppy than the last gen RS3 here in EU as well. They've removed the pops and a more deep rumbly sound. I kinda like it to be honest.

Great vid! Still a bit detuned as the RS3’s here in Oz get 440bhp standard, although talk is that’s a conservative estimate. Guess glad I’m moved from the States!

J Martin brake horse and wheel horse are 2 different things, bhp will sometimes be slightly higher than whp

the video is good, but if your saying 100 hp each cylinder and you have five cylinder then it's 500 hp then not 400, and is the person talking a man or woman?

My 2016 S3 is terrible in the snow and that's with 4 brand new winter tires. I too the car in to be tested the service department could not reenact the issue. I was told to return when there is snow on the ground so they could road test it. Therefore I am not looking forward to winter driving until it is corrected.

Wow I find that surprising, I had a WRX and now an S3, both with the same snow tires and the S3 blows the subaru out of the water in winter driving. Is there an issue with your car?

Can someone please explain to me how "This new 2.5 liter turbocharged 5-cylinder puts out a whopping 160 horsepower per cylinder, for a total of 400" makes any sense at all? Last time I checked 160HP/per Cylinder x 5 Cylinders = 800HP... I'm guess you mean 160HP per Liter? Might want to add a little note in there if that's the case :)

How come Audi have not put fully electrical seats in an RS???

The industry admitted years ago in a documentary that Nappa Leather was a coo. Just to sell..

Car looks too plain. What does Audi have against fender flares? The BMW M2 is so much better looking. The RS models should look mean. It wouldn't take much to make an A3 look like an RS3. Brakes, wheels and Exhaust, that's it. The BMW 240i would need a body-kit and plenty more to look like an M2.

Nice!... but it's to little.

RS3 uses Haldex just like the S3. Its not quattro. It has a fast acting pump to make it feel more RWD bias but isn't not. Its the same Haldex 5 in my volvo with different software

joan hernandez ciriza Yes!! Too many ignorant people want to call Haldex fake AWD but don't know the facts. Its way more efficient than most other AWD systems out there. Haldex 5 is a great system. It's used on some of the most expensive cars in the world

i hate those wheels though the s3 has some better looking ones

Too bad the Yanks despise hatchbacks as I would have bought one. However we get what he Yanks get here in Canada.
