In 1980 special education was called Diversified Occupational Education DOE, and they often put students that were slow learners with students with moderate to severe learning disabilities, back then average students needed I think 16 credits to meet the basic minimum for graduation, but we only needed 6 credits and our certificate would show that. Since I was in the Electromagnetic Radiation Experiments with the U.S pentagon from age 10 up I was encouraged to drop out so I would be available full time

Since im at a charter school, they only require sped texes passed. But once i move on to a public school, most require sped and core texes test to be passed.
