Love watching the run outs on bar box tables. Make it look easy, but it's not, not for me anyway, lol. Thanks for the upload!!

Matthew Lewellen well it's not easy when it's 8 ball being played especially, that's why the pros will tell you that 8 ball bar box is the hardest to play

It's not rolls. It's hours and hours of practicing that soft break on the barbox. There's a reason SVB is 819 and Mitch is 738. Even the side pocket jump scratch, the tangent line lead straight to the corner. that's a bad roll if you're a league player. If you're a pro you find a way to avoid the scratch.

It was so obvious the cueball was going to scratch on that jump. I was shocked he even went for it.

It is. I switched over to try playing on a 9 foot for practice and it's such a huge difference. Cuts shits and stuff and harder lol

Not "just" like this, no. Hopefully, someday, whoever is doing these CSI videos will learn how to set the volume, or at least how to fix it in post-production if it's too low. I hate watching these things with the volume turned up and getting my ears blown out when the ads pop up.

Is Ellerman allowed to touch the 9 ball with his cue after hitting the cue ball? 4:31

@@FreaackyFreaky Even if playing cue ball fouls only, that would have been a foul because the 6 hit the 9 after he touched it. He scratched so it was a moot point but, had he not scratched, and had Shane caught it, that would have been a foul. Playing cue ball fouls only, it's still a foul if you touch a ball and then another ball makes contact with the ball that was touched.

Yamadame480 no, cue ball fouls only means just that, only a foul on the cue ball. If you move a ball and it contact the cue ball or the cue ball contacts a ball that was moved, it’s a foul. Not a fouls if it’s 2 object balls. Your opponent places them back where they think they should be

r8wells if you hit a ball with your hand, and then another ball that is in motion from the shot (cue ball, the object ball you missed, etc.) comes and hits the ball that you touched with your hand, that’s a foul. In that case, it isn’t as simple as putting the ball you touched with your hand back because it completely altered the outcome of the shot that can’t be undone. What if you touched a ball, then missed the object ball but it came back and hit the ball that you just touched and then goes into a pocket? I’ve never played in nor seen a tournament, whether it was a local or a bigger tournament, where that rule wasn’t enforced when playing cue ball fouls only.

Yamadame480 depends on what rules you’re playing. When he said, cue ball foul only, I automatically assumed APA. In vnea and bca, I believe you are correct. Apa, not a foul

TBH, I quit watching because to hear the commentary, the commercials blast my eardrums. As a psych major with some grasp of the relevant concepts, volume should be increased to spare viewers of the shock that comes otherwise. Shock can teach a mouse not to eat, starving itself to death. Shock also teaches viewers.
