I have a humble Skoda Rapid and never had an issue with services including guaranteed refund in case of late delivery. I don't know why Skoda gets bad rep on services front. Yes, servicing is somewhat expensive, parts are not so cheap but hey this is not Maruti.

guys.. 1.8TSI is the best .. moreover the suspension also is better only in this variant.. please test drive this[1.8 TSI] and then decide which variant to buy.. DIESEL - is good only for mileage ..but ride quality is the best in 1.8 TSI...

But DARE I say, Skoda needs the new Fabia in India badly specially with the 1.2 TSi + Manual and 1.5 TDi+ manual and DSG, Otherwise Skoda WILL DIE IN INDIA

OVERDRIVE review is so much more informative then the AUTOCAR review. AUTOCAR really needs to pull up its socks. It seems very restricted in its information that it puts out regarding car reviews. Keep up the good work OVERDRIVE and keep improving with time. Best wishes

Skoda needs to add more options like they do in Europe, the alloy options available in Europe is simply amazing. upsell guys..more margins for you and more choices for the consumer.

Miraj Patel Hyundai's Crdi is certainly kore refined and punchy than VW's TDI engine. Also the fact that current Octavia's AT variant is 2-3 lakhs expensive than the elantra's AT. (prices varying because of GST discounts)

the thing with the new headlamps is they look awful on light colored octavias like white or silver but they look really really awesome on darker colors like blue, black, red etc.

Karan Singh It hasn't been officially launched yet. All the manufacturers usually increase the price around 60-80k for minor facelifts, but GST is supposed to decrease the prices in this category by the same amount. So, expect it to be priced quite similar to current model.

Bad car, I have bought a car Octavia 2017, after half year, there are lots of harmful emission interior in the car and bad for health and Shanghai VW has no solution and feedback for this at the beginning. at last, they officially said that Shanghai VW will replace the front soundproof cotton for free of charge, but, lately, the problem have been happened again. I hate Octavia, Skoda.
