That's nice it's for scholarships. They are so deserving, too. I mean, look at these poor girls, being pretty and living that grueling life of traveling around and being in beauty pageants all funded by parents that make decent money. I'm sure glad that those scholarships aren't going to poor kids struggling in the inner city that are working hard on their education. Whew! How appropriate would it be for them to get some help for school? That would be a fucking travesty. I mean, colleges are totally lacking in self-absorbed, pretty, rich, girls with half a brain.

No he hosts enough. I like these hosts. They were fabulous. One of the best I have to say. He does do Miss Universe although I feel like they need to update the hosts on that show.

Guys, today I found out that she is my 2nd cousin. She was in my home today. Plus she just passed the CA bar and is now a lawyer. Beauty and Brains. She prefers the brains. I am so proud of you Sophia!!!! Your cousin Nathan congrats!!!

Missouri reminds me of Catherine Zeta-Jones and she has the most convincing interview and most natural final look and the lone contestant with latin/mexican descent in the group :)

It was obvious the judges favored Sophia from the start. Look at the commercials. She looked the best in the active wear commercial and she spoke last with the best reaction on the promo about what it feels that being Miss teen USA brings to the community. Her question round was great but she seemed a bit nervous but I liked her message. In the end..Sophia deserved it

Missouri definitely deserved winning ! She's a very very pretty girl simple but fierce and very SMART . The questions they asked and the response she would give are very very high top intelligent smart words that defenitly got her too be on top . i love it she's so cute 👑 . ❤

I thought California had it up until the final question, which is arguably the most testing part of the competition and the part with the most pressure. In terms of her answer, she went off the rails rambling way too much about her Model UN experience and it filled up way too much of her time. The reason why she got called 4RU was because she was the only one out of the top 5 that strayed a little too far from answering the question. Of course the results are calculated with every segment put together, but with the final questions alone, I think Missouri and Oregon gave the best answers to the questions during the final round which is why they ended up being the final two. I think Missouri had the best composure and did not stray too far from her final answer.

So pretty Miss Teen USA 2017! Her answer was flawless. Beauty and intelligence as well. Congratulations Sophia!!

It would be better if they were saying name first after saying states during the opening introduction

Going out of the way to comment here that the host in the white gown, Erin Lim is a very good host! Good job! Heidi is good, but I wish her styling would be better, especially the hair.

I was totally totally disappointed that North Dakota and South Carolina did not make that cut i wish they had a to talk and that would've change the judges minds so disappointed and Nevada was robbed she should've won, but i do congratulate Missouri on winning 2nd time back in 2001 Marissa Whitley won good luck to the new winner.

they should promote the small designers that make the dresses in USa insted of Cherry Hills that produce them in China

all cherry hills designs are copy from the most famous designers because the Chinese manufacturers copy them . Even more they are not design by her , they are designed in China manufacturers made of cheap taffeta and polyester . She just select the designs she wants and the Chinese manufacturers just put the label on it as many store retailers do .
