it's been almost 6 years since their last performance in an award show. Even non-fans miss them. it's really different when EXO's on stage.

It's a lot for an award show for sure. There is a reason fans say that EXO turned every award show performance into an EXO concert. Not only is the stage design and production impeccable, but they go all out to draw everyone in. And the fan chants certainly help :D

MMA is a big award event in Korea, even though many other idol groups attended but exo got a lot of screams from exol who attended, fans were dominated by exol

In any award show where EXO performed would always seem that it's their concert. EXO's live performances are the best. Simply put, this group is truly in a class of their own, then & now.

D.O. coming in every EXO song just elevates the music, truly. Not to undermine the other members vocals because i love their voices together and individually but man alive, Kyungsoo's just hits different. His vocal tone is so unique.

Same. I just discovered them. I don't really listen to kpop. They are the only kpop on my spotify playlist.

This kind of vibe in award shows was only possible 'cause of EXO and their ever supportive EXO-L! The loud cheering and energetic fan chants multiply the excitement and intensity of every EXO live performance a hundredfold! If not for their in-ear monitors, EXO wouldn't hear the music as they sing! Too bad uri boys no longer attend award shows. It has never been the same since.

Exo's live performance hits different coz of fanchants . Even I personally prefer live performances than MVS because of fanchants .. EXOLS are monsters of fanchants.. Live performance of EXO is most crazy and beautiful thing in the world. I just love their live performance so so so much, it makes me crazy. Yes, the infamous M awards, where EXO was put in the middle of the show, which is very disrespectful as the senior groups had always been last in the program. They were up for five awards, and based on the tally, being shown on screen, in the days ahead, EXO was waaayyy ahead of other groups. Yet, mysteriously, before the awards, the percentages changed! And EXO lost the first four awards! Suspicious 🤨. They finally won the last award for album of the year which is based on straight record sales that can’t be altered. M said that the criteria changed on the other ones. 🤨 And there were phony entries. ??? There was the big red X over EXOs picture in early advertising, which quickly changed upon backlash. And exactly copying EXOs performance of them being elves and making candy. M’s version had a girls group being the candy makers, but other than that, it was a copy of EXO. Exols weren’t allowed to bring in their light sticks, but we’re to only use the ones passed out at the door! I think some got through. Then EXOs started leaving because the whole ceremony it just seemed unfair, and the M staff tried to STOP them. Some participants were shoved and pushed to the ground. !!! 😮 Suho gave a respectful speech, Chanyeol was in tears, others looked solemn, and finally Baekyun took the mic to remind the fans that they had won the most prestigious award, and everyone should be happy, and to go home safely. SM refused to let ANY of its groups attend the awards shows after that. Now, I have a fear of passing in false information, so I checked and double checked with different sources, and these seem to be the events everyone agreed on. If you find something I reported is wrong, please let me know so I don’t keep passing on wrong information.

honestly AWARD shows stopped being fun ever since groups like EXO, BIGBANG, even 2ne1.....stopped attending!! Miss seeing ikon, exo, bigbang, snsd, got7, winner, wannaone, mamamoo......all these legendary groups attending together!
