Great review Mike! I am so surprised that Jeep added LED headlights to the Wranglers. Jeep added really good touches to the Jeep Wrangler, that will keep it slightly more refreshed for the 2017 model year. I cannot wait until Jeep produces the Jeep Wrangler Pickup. I had each of a '15 and a '16. The previous non-LED headlights in those were actually dangerous IMO, even with a spotless windshield...couldn't see squat! That was among my first mods: my chosen brand was JW SPEAKER. BTW: I'm 5'9" and while sleeping in the back (with lowered or removed rear seats) is possible, one needs to do so corner-to-corner to fit. Even that way, it's a tight fit.

Been thinking about buying a truck lately but out of nowhere I started leaning towards the jeeps and used H1 Hummers more...really like them but man that interior is killing me lol I guess it’s a Jeep thing to you know keep it basic, reliable, and made to work just fine, but man they should at least make it like the new Ram interiors since they’re the same company, but over all I like how neat Jeeps are

The only tech I want in em are rear cameras (after using them, holy shit they're useful) and power seats, that can go up, down, etc....makes it a lot more comfortable. Everything else can stay the same lol. Some have touchscreens inside of them already.

Mine is almost identical except the rear compartment under the floor mat has a sub and amplifier. The system is Alpine. It is the best stereo I have ever heard that came factory.

I bought 2016 but I did not get tool for removing the hard tip don't know if 2016 comes with tool or the dealership steals it before the sell it and good thing that 2017 comes with led headlights and fog lights

can i use it as a daily driver ? i heard their suspension is rigid and stiff kind of like sport susp

Evan stanley hope you ordered the long arm. Ride sucks going that hi with mid arm suspension. If your going that high why not get front D44 with 37inch tires.

Hey Mike! Are there anymore Ram truck videos coming up soon?

I just bought a 17 JK and the transmission had problems from the 4th day of owning it. I took it back to the dealership and they have been trying to fix it for the past week and a half. Everytime they put it back together something they find another issue that needs to be replaced. They're cool cars but a real pain in the ass from what I have already experienced. Think about it before you buy it.

Just an update for anyone who cares. My Jeep was a total lemon. I took it in for repair for the same problem that year. The dealership actually told me to talk to FCA customer service and demand a refund. Which I did and they gave me. I used decided to take the refund as credit for a 2018 JL sport. It's been three years of owning the JL and besides some small quirks here and there, The thing has been really good. It's about to get it's 50,000 miles and I absolutely love it.

You're not just paying for a car, you're paying for the awesome options that are way cooler than the extra you'd pay for a convertible. It's a fun vehicle, not just for people that want to just drive to work and home or a party. You're paying for getting to drive ON the beach, not parking a mile away carrying everything. You're paying for the fun of not just a convertible but I full open top AND all the doors come off too. Plus, they're built like a tank, you don't want to bump into one even barely. Ive learned this myself after being in a wreck from weve someone t boned me and their car crumpled bad. Mine was totaled too but me, my son and 2 grandbabies were all safe. So yes, you might be able to get a 4 door sedan for less money but it would be a much more boring vehicle, but pretty I'm sure. 😉

I really don't like that heavy tire hanging on the back of the tiny rear door that swings open to the right.

New jeeps bother me because more and more I there just turning into family SUVs

Mike I had a question if you or anyone else could answer. I'm looking to order a 2017 Jeep and customise it but wasn't sure which model to order. I'm wanting to put a 6" lift on it with 37" tires on it and I know that Jeeps only go up to a 4.10 gear ratio that I know wouldn't be enough power for me to go 4-wheeling. I'm by no means mechanically inclined but I've heard by some people saying that if I went got a standard gear like a 3.21 or a 3.73 gear ratio instead of spending the extra money on a 4.10 gear ratio and then putting in what ever gear ratio that I decided to go with rather than spending the extra money on getting the 4.10 gear ratio. But then some people tell me that I couldn't go from say a 3.73 gear ratio to say a 4.88 gear ratio that I would have to have a 4.10 gear ratio to change it to a 4.88 (some people tell me that I can change it and some people tell me that I can't) and I obviously don't want to order my Jeep with the wrong gear ratio or spend the money on an up grade that I wouldn't need from Jeep when I know that I'm going to have to change it any ways. My other question is say if I got a Hard Rock Jeep which I absolutely love that with it coming with a Electronic Sway Bar Disconnect button and you go 4-wheeling and cross rivers a lot that I've heard people having problems with it shorting out. I'd appreciate if you or any of your subscribers could give me any help or direction to go I'd deeply appreciate it. As I said I love the way the Hard Rock looks with the bumpers and hood. But if I could go to a cheaper model that still offered leather seats and I'd be changing the gear ratio any ways and can add the lockers and go another route with the sway bar disconnect I would be saving a lot of money for my upgrades, love your videos I'll keep on watching. I'll be hoping and waiting for a direction that anyone can give me. Thank You in advance...

Joe Tarlos leather seats are useless in a Jeep, when you've got the top off in the summertime, they get hot as hell. Most people get seat covers

Joe Tarlos I'm just getting started with lifting my Jeep, but no where near a 6 inch lift, so I'm not necessarily changing my gears right away. I do know that Rubicons are outfitted with Dana 44's rather than a Dana 30 axle. You'd have to call a place that does lifts like 4 wheel parts or Quadratec

The V6 they use in the wranglers (also the Town and country, Charger, Challenger,.....much more) is JUNK. Still plagued with poor head design stemming as far back as 2011. Chysler admitted to the 2011-2013 issues... they are still denying the problem in the 2014+ models of the motor. Dealers are kept busy fix burnt exhaust valves in the left cylinder head. Good luck. Hope your warranty is honored. They love finding BS reasons to make the customer fix their broken engines due to their bad design. And yes I own that motor... motor failure at 47k miles. Burnt exhaust valve.

there is no way this is a 2017??? I have a 2011 Jeep Wrangler Sahara Unlimited and it has heated, leather seats with the jeep branding in the seats where it says Sahara on this one, touch navigation, and remote start. I bought it used with i believe around 40,000 miles for 25-30 grand.

pay attention to its embedded GPS navigation, it will start failing after one year, check it out on Google, you will find out this is common problem.

That hasn't been my experience. I have seen hundreds of these GPS systems in a variety of years and models work fine year after year. I have only seen one out of hundreds that had a defect and needed to be replaced... Service manager was shocked.
