This is literally the Jeep I got this last weekend. Same color and everything. It’s been my dream car for over 10 years. I did not even have it for 24hrs before I drove it with the top off. Also the Jeep wave is a real thing. You either get it or you don’t. ❤️

my homie got this car, I think its cool and all with these features but. The engine itself with the drivetrain is a huge issue, front diff issues, overheating issues, go for the older jeeps especially those with the 4.0l I-6.

You guys sure make Jeep look like a lot of fun, thanks for not spoiling the moment with MSRP. Great video!

Not really completely on board with your tank/airplane analogy here, but I cant completely disagree either. Maybe to put it another way, if you are drinking the "its a Jeep thing" kool-aid, you don't care that the fuel economy is so brutally bad. Also, don't care that Chrysler's technology and development is lagging so far behind other auto makers, that their development is stuck in the 90's, and they aren't capable of producing the same mpg's in comparable vehicles that other auto makers are capable of. But again, at least its a Jeep thing!

Well, if you compare the Wrangler to the same class vehicle, which are not many on the market, i.e Toyota FJ, Nissan X-Terra, you'll be surprised my friend they actually are in about the same MPG range, about 15-16 mpg city, and 19-20 mpg road, for all of this class. So it's NOT a Jeep thing! If you compare an Wrangler with an RAV-4, then it's comparing apples to oranges. The Grand Cherokee is built on the exact same platform as Mercedes-Benz M- class, renamed Mercedes GLE (last Daimler gift to Chrysler before they got away...) and the MPG is very similar... If you compare small Jeeps to competition you'll see the same similar MPGs. Patriot / Compass is almost gone with the brand new Compass on the market, Renegade (Fiat 500x) is 100% no '90s technologies... Sorry, I'm not drinking any kool-aid, but you're in error, pure ans simple.

I got my 2009 wrangler sport for 15k used. She's got 109k miles and runs like a charm with normal maintenance. I love taking it to the beach and theres so many aftermarket parts made for them. I plan on driving it until she dies! Awesome and fun review. 10/10

11:00 you don't have them because you forgot the mirrors on the doors :) those can be installed on A-pillar :) and MUST be installed on pillars. Next time....

Jeeps are a hoot. I owned a 4R and a Tacoma. The community, offroad events, and instant group of buddies nearly anywhere make it a great experience.

I just got my 2017 JKU a month ago. I love it. It feels like the best of 1999 technology but I don't care. It's a Jeep thing.

You have to pair Bluetooth through the voice command menu. That UConnect system is horrible.

If you love the top off and want to take it down at any point while having the freedom to pull it back up..i recommend a soft top. You can pull it back all by yourself as well

The only thing wrong with it is it's not a manual. I drove my friend's mid 90's Jeep a few times with no doors or roof 10 years ago and I definitely have to say, I get it. It's stuck with me all these years as that alternate life I never lead but maybe still could in a mid life crisis?

Former VW/Audi/Porsche sales wonk. Great review. One thing of note: most of the electronics on this are parts bin right off the VW Routan aka Dodge/Chrysler mini van... the nav, the controls behind the steering wheel, etc.

My '97 Grand Cherokee had those same back side of the steering wheel radio controls. Chrysler has been doing that for YEARS! I actually really liked them, to me they seemed much more natural to use then the controls on the front of the wheel.

The "wave" is why I love my Mini Cooper S. We have the same trend

I’ve always felt driving my sisters wrangler that the gas pedal is too far left...like it is actually centerline and my right leg needs to cant towards it

can you drive with just the front doors ( removing back doors and roofs). can the front doors lock if you remove the roof.

So If anyone can help me out.. I’m looking at buying the Jeep unlimited Sahara 2017 but the thing is the gas sucks and I’d be commuting everyday to work which is 30/49 minutes away. So another Jeep I was looking at was the 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee limited and the Cherokee trail hawk?!? Any suggestions

Why JEEP doesn't install the side mirrors to the A pillars or the side panels, just above the SAHARA sticker? If so, you would be able to remove the doors and still keep the safety of having the mirrors. Or maybe, made them removable from the door and reattach to that screws on the side. ^.^

They are removeable. These guys just did not know it. You can remove the mirrors and install it after you took out the door
