great video. the Jag is great on dry roads. Big improvement over most other automobiles in their lineup.

I use my X-type wagon as a truck... particularly with the back seats folded down... The F Pace has easily as much truck space in it for when I carry materials and hardware.

I'm gonna give this a thumbs up even though the off road review really sucked. However, I realized you were hamstrung by Jags restriction so no fault on you. What I did like was the narration and your knowledge on the product. So good vid but damn on Jag for limiting your ability to bounce that fpace off boulders and stream beds.

Beautiful coutryside... though I'm living in the UK now, reminds me of my home state of South Australia

The jaguar is fantastic, I think I want to get one.

Not the first awd Jag... I have an X-Type Sovereign 3.0L (gasoline) station wagon... while it can't be called 4WD it certainly handles whatever I've thrown at it... as long as you don't go nuts and expect Land Rover capability... I'm looking forward to trading up...soon... to a 3.0L F Pace in caesium blue.

I wish they would give you a mid range model like the Premium or Prestige with 19" wheels and let you do a little heavier off roading.

The F pace this week was demonstrated at Goodwood festival this week with colour updates and upgrades. rumour has it more engine and trim options are on there way. Which may include the new invisible dash technology from land rover parts bin, air suspension options and engines...still no hybrid on the cards!

Great vid guys. It's obvious this car will only ever get used to transport Tarquin and Aurelia to and from school. And maybe venture onto the field for sports days or maybe a horse show or two.

Could have been a bit more challenging but they could have taken it more seriously. This looks like a great around town car with the capabilities for off-roading to that beach house or cabin that’s down that unimproved road.

The suspension was set up by Land Rover. It is capable of a lot more.

I would love to see how it would do with a set of bfg ko2s on Imogene pass in ouray

you really need to take SUVs through snow because 99.9% of SUVs will never see real "off-road", the closest they'll see is heavy snow covered streets

I'd be that 1 percent. Ive actually taken my stock nissan rogue through off roading trails. For CUVs they actually have good capabilities for what they are. Mine went up/down steep gravel and rock inclines, got it up on 2 tires, took it through thick mud, over largish rocks, and through 3' streams. I'd love to see how well the jaguar could do with some off road trails similar to what I took my rogue through.

Roman, do you think if we can totally trust F-pace's all wheel drive system in winter? I have a feeling that traditional all time AWD system(quattro 4matic xdrive symmetric) would be more reliable than jaguar's.

That has to be laziest off road test I’ve ever seen. Two guys drive on a dirt road for half an hour reading out the specs given by Jaguar!!
