Yesterday, some of the top-rated female skaters gathered at the Vans skatepark in Orange, CA, for the Girls Combi Classic. The competition continues to get gnarlier and this year was no exception. Check the shredding here. Girl power!

Any girls who skate can wear thrasher, just those who don't skate or know what thrasher means to skateboarders are the ones that shouldnt
Fast plants, ally-oops, frontside inverts, blunt to fakie, ... ! I've been skating since 1977 (rubber wheels and all of that) but this is what is known as "maximum stoke". Thank you to all the skaters, the parents, Vans, Thrasher, You're a credit to your nation.

This is the best way females can protest
Eggplants, backside boneless, stale fish, half cabs, corner airs, corner grind 5-0's! In an eight foot deep pool! Utterly, utterly inspiring. Thanks to all concerned who skated, organised, arranged, filmed this event. Just brilliant!
Love that the girls have just as awesome and unique names as the guys.
