I know Josh Smith (number 4 for LSU.) He was selected in the second round of the MLB Draft in 2019. He played for Catholic High School in Baton Rouge. He’s just a great all-around player.

Neither of these teams wanted that Florida pitching. But both teams were good and this was a great game

Man my Tigers were good that year. We beat Florida State and Oregon State twice in the CWS that year. Lost to Florida in the Finals.

As a Florida fan, LSU had much more energy in this game than I saw in the Finals.

Nick Coomes gets on base 3 times plays great 1st base and Maneri takes him out. Maneri been pulling classic moves like this the past 5 years lol

Matthias Lenox The old ball Coach has definitely made some questionable moves over the years. He did bring home 1 National Championship. But, we had a team with 4 current MLB players on it and lost a home Super Regional. I wanted us to hire Tony Robichaux from UL to replace Bertman back in the day.
Florida State has an insane amount of CWS choke moments.
