These are GREAT cars, they are the perfect Sleeper!! Mine is a 2017 stick shift as well and I LOVE it!! I had to order it because no dealers in my state had a stick shift so I had to wait 6 months while Holden built my car!! A few questions, what was the code your car was putting out that told you it was the MAS? Another cool thing about these cars is that ANY hi performance stuff you can put on a Vette, Cadie or Camaro will fit on these cars!! So far all I have done to mine is install a K&N hi flow air filter, deleted to unmonitored rear cat converters, removed the intake 'sound box' but kept the "kazoo tube", reprogrammed the radio & center gauge to Holden specs (wish they could have deleted the Chevy 'bow tie' there) and switched to all LED lighting. I have thought about installing headers, but I do like the bi modal. Mufflers. I will be installing an oil pan windage tray, an aftermarket engine oil cooler and light weight engine pullies. By the way, 'Left Hand Utes' in Colorado has a blue Holden Commodore SSV STATION WAGON fully converted to left hand drive for sale !! The perfect car for 'daily Kid hauling'.

I have a blue '17 STI, that color is similar enough, and it's the same situation. The blue really pops when it's washed but dull in comparison when it gets dirty over time.

I love them! Its a shame they are soo expensive. More technical knowledge about manual swapping a Pontiac G8 is surfacing - that will make those cars an awesome buy

I actually bought it with those center caps! It's the stock cap (to my knowledge) with a sticker over it. I just bought new "stickers" but to my surprise, these look like oem stickers amzn.to/3UA0qho

My 2014 ss holden commodore has only 1300 miles never been in the rain shop keap.Been lowered on 20-11 rear front 20-9 Chrome rims

i have one. its been a nightmare. mine came completely modded to the tits. lifter collapsed and didnt release itself, which causes trunnion needle bearings to be found in my oil pan. My advise to you. do the trunnion needle bearing upgrade asap. you can technically do it yourself its THAT EASY and will save you an engine. I let my gf take mine to her dog sitting nonsense and yeah. its been down since last oct. its at bc raceworks so whenever they finish with it i may see it again. This engine and all its variants are known for lifters taking out cams, i just got super unlucky and the trunnion needle bearings helped kill off the old engine.

The Holden Commodore was exported to the USA by Holden in left hand drive. Importing a Falcon would be such a hassle especially as they were never made in left hand drive. There are some old Ford Falcons in the USA but they are just for weekend use.

It’s looking awesome still! I hope all is going well Health wise too. If you do just a cam or a supercharger and cam you’ll be encouraged to do headers anyway! They make such a difference! If you want the most insane intake sound, look at getting a “SS Inductions ‘Growler’ kit” they are $599 AUD and claim a 20rwkw gain. I put one on my Statesman and it really woke her up!!

Yeah the black Simmons FR1’s in 19” would look sweet!!

Oh and one thing. if that chek engine light you mentioned EVER STARTS FLASHING STOP DRIVING IT AT ALL COSTS! that light flashing means ur literally killing that engine and it will need a new one.

Their engines are very reliable right?

From what I can gather, yes. The only issues I've seen people have is the oil pump going bad, but it gives a warning with a dash light.

Why not swap for a manual CTSV?

My friends say the same thing! They are decently smaller on the inside and older tech, plus I have this weird obsession with Holden's. A manual CTSV wagon is hard to beat
