You've now had a few months. Has your opinion changed since Jan--better/worse? How is the ride and comfort with the M sport package. Drove the X4 today, nice but seems like it would be more cramped than this GT. Unfortunately, dealer does not normally carry the GT line, only the standard 330i sedan and wagon. I'm also told the GT sits a little higher and handles a bit better than the regular 330i and the X4. Comments? I've never owned a BMW. I also considered the Audi and Benz line.

Thanks for the review. I just left a deposit on a 2017 330I Gran Turismo 3 yr. lease myself. I wanted versatility with a sporty ride. BMW in Greenwich, CT was offering a great lease on a 55K msrp listed vehicle. Im surprised your M sport package didnt come with the 19" rims. Mine doesn't have the M package, but has the 19" rims 225/45, a $900 option!! It definitely helps with a sportier ride/handling without being too brutally hard. Mine is Silver Glacier, with Premium Package, Cold Weather Package, Drivers Assistance package Technology Package, All weather floor liners, Apple car play (I have a Samsung S7 Edge (damn) and Blk Leather w/ Oyster leather seating. I'm trading in my 2011 MB C300 4matic with sport package and that vehicle always had a hard ride, but great handling. I hated that I only had 4" of ground clearance. Lots of damage to my front air dam. I checked out the GT and it has at least 6.5". Oh, my test driving impressions, plenty of power from the 4 cylinder dual turbo right off the line, good handling with the 19" tires, ton of back seat room and cargo. Supportive and comfy front seats. 23/33 gas mileage as listed is very good. Unfortunately it has to be premium like almost all turbos and German luxury cars. My Benz is 17/25 and I usually get 15-16 in the city. Sporty and comfortable even in Sport mode. I couldnt tell much of a difference in Sport plus. I have standard radio which is average for the segment. 9 speakers versus 10 that I had in my Benz. I fell in love with the car and all its features during the test ride. I also like that Ive only seen one or two in the past 3 years here in Westchester County, NY. The new 4 series Gran Coupe does look sportier, but its smaller, low to the ground and not as versatile. Beautiful car! Looking for an almost identical model except with Black Dakota leather with red stitching. Can you do a test drive video? Would love to hear your input on the 330 engine vs the 328 model. Thanks!

Since the windows are frameless and the window drops a small amount when you open the door, have you had trouble in the winter where in New England we sometimes get that coating of freezing rain that covers the entire car and windows?.I would suspect if the entire window and door had that 1/16th inch pf ice it would be frozen in place and you would be unable to open door? Or has that not been an issue> Thanks for sharing your review.

Since you mention you had the nearly identical 2014 before this, I was looking forward to your impressions of the driving and performance differences, rather than the cosmetic differences. For 2017 BMW made changes to the suspension and engine (even though the hp numbers are nearly identical). You mention that the 2017 "drives a little more sportier" but that is vague. Is the steering better or heavier? Is there a little more torque to justify the name change from 328 to 330? Is the ride the same or firmer? Do the LED headlights perform better or worse than halogen? These would be more worthwhile discussions in my view. Edit: I see you have not driven both vehicles. Can you clarify if the old one was your daily driver?

It depends on your maintenance budget. If you are used to driving a Toyota or Honda, BMW will be very expensive to maintain long term.

4 the outside Cube ...GT's appearance is not what makes it handle!!Dont talk dumb stuff H&R sways will be what you to put on this car as well H&R springs 50mm front 40mm rear and ....forget Msport in this car its not a E46
