You missed a stop in Taos NM to float the Rio Grande! Let's get after it.

If you're going to be such a dogmatic idiot, you could at least get his first name right. Here's a clue: it's not Norman.

Wait now. Come on dude. REALLY? Give yourself from leeway--- after you turn 95, don't you want to be able to drop down to a kayak and do something EASY? :D

That is a damn good idea. Plus I can fit an ammo can with all my meds in it. I love ammo cans. Those are a boaters friend. Net bags are great to. Who needs a Kayak? Not me. My brother wrote the Verde River recreation guide. He has passed on. But, he was the first person on record to boat the whole Verde top to take out. If you are ever in AZ. The Verde is a good canoe destination. Look at 4 days for the Beasley Flat to Childs portion. It won't rush you very hard. Boatable down to 80 CFS if you pack light. Ran it at over a 1,000 during a 10,000 year flood. We went in to hunt for 2 weeks. Screw survivalists and preppers. To truly get away from people takes good skill. Good gear, good friends and good boats. Still looking for a perception saddle. Like Whitesell used and I used. Been away for too long. Living through videos now. Enjoy every minute you get.

Whats all the hassle in this canoe-kayak thing? Seems like canoe is more difficult, but is that all you get? Isn’t kayak faster+more controllable=more fun?
