I have a question for Awa .I played in the BCA inthe mid to late 90's and was the Big stick award winner the year I played. I was wondering if there was any war to look up the patches I won . Because I won like 10 to 15 patches. That year . And someone took them from me . And I would like to know if they could be replaced. If so I can give you the information you need. Or how I could get it.

I've noticed this in the APA. There is sometimes dishonesty and frequently there's nobody watching. It's the way it works by its very nature. It's a social league and some team captains pay attention to a bottle of beer or talking business. I always liked to watch all the matches of my team mates (I'm not a captain) but hey, I'm going to pick up that burger. It's a social league and there's a bit of screwing around. So that's the culture. The vast majority of the members are scrupulously honest, but the few bad apples can get away with it. You guys who are not impressed with the strength of a lot of the lower rated players should stop whining or watch the pros instead. A lot of the guys are trying really hard to play great but most don't have a lot of experience or are limited in certain skills that pros in it for the money must have to compete. So consider what I say and enjoy the fun the kids are having or consider shutting the fuck up. Have a nice day.

i disagree that 32:02 was a "clear foul". i've watched it several times and it's anything but clear. i would accept a ruling either way. probably a simultaneous hit, which is not a foul.

  • @davidsingleton5432

In my honest opinion, it's a clear foul, not even close to simultaneous. Play it back at .25 speed and you should see it looks super obvious.

32:02That was a foul. The reff needs to do a better job. And I’m surprised the commentators didn’t catch that..

  • @philparrish6914

Refs can't call a shot unless asked to watch it while it is is being played. With that being said, that particular shot is really hard to catch without the benefit of slo-mo replay which is not available during the tournament.

honestly does ewa have any idea what she's talking about? like at any time? most things she says are false and how she sees the balls on the table is completely wrong.. saying balls dont pass when they do and saying shots are perfect when the player is completely tied up.. and it's not just in this video. every time i've seen her commentate it's just really off and she seems lost. To think she would have more knowledge of the game with her credibility and apa status

I do wish the commentators would spend their time calling the shots and and stay off the historical and background stuff. That would be more professional and useful in helping us understand.

She's asked "who's the toughest player you've played against" and only mentioned women players, sorry to say I can garauntee most her toughest opponent's have been men if not all. Shes an amazing player and could smoke me 10/10 times BUT it's painfully obvious men are better at billiards over all.

the APA is all about collecting money everyone. I am an 82 year old APA player ranked as a 7,,,and repeatedly in local tournaments with APA rankings i play players with a 7 ranking that are far superior to me in playing pool. Unfortunately the APA does not want to address this discrepancey in their ranking system. In my Local tounament I get to play pool players that play all the time for money, and in money tournaments, but are not considered professional pool players, yet they are allowed to play at my skill level in 8 ball. Something needs to be done about this.

H Edward Harrington Playing for money or in tournaments in no way makes one a professional player. I know many C players that do both. APA should have a better handicap system to allow for the top level difference, USAPL and BCA are by far the best for better players. Then issue with cheating is a lot worse though, from what I have seen half the players are losing on purpose or extending innings to keep their handicap low. Every week I hear teams talking about who should loose or tell players not to shoot so well.

Clearly Jason Bowman knows little about pool and doesn't seem very interested in the matches as they're played . Feels need to constantly talk and draws attention away from the game being played. Extremely annoying. I'd put it on mute but would miss Ava's comments. Bowman is just so annoying. Please learn to lay back.
