I've got a 2013 fjr1300a, that I bought with 2800+ miles on it. three years ago. It is such a comfortable, and capable machine. Now I'm 56 years old, and have owned 11 motorcycles, since I first got my license at the age of 18. They've all been Yamaha's, except one. I've owned two Yamaha FJ1200's(the ones that the FJR were fathered by). Great machines... Knock out mid-range power for straightening the twistys. Plus bulletproof reliability. So, now after less then three years of having my "Japanese Mistress", she has 24711 miles. I did a ten day 5140 mile trip out west and back from Atlanta, and in less then two weeks will be starting another adventure, that might end up being near double the last trip. Coming back last summer, on I-75 near Knoxville Tennesee, I remember thinking to myself, my word, I'm not even tired, I could stay gone for another two weeks. I've had bikes, that I've ridden 200 miles in a day, and then didn't get on them for months. My FJR1300 makes me feel like I could ride it forever. So much fun and comfort, too. That's the surprising thing, also. Only complaint I have was the OEM seat. Kinda sucked... well no it sucked. I bought a Sargent.... love it. Comfortable, but not some mushy, hot gel P.O.S. Keep the rubber down.

I wish there was some narrations, but I still like this bike. it now has 6 speed transmission, and a few other improvements. Power that's almost unheard of! Comfort. From listening to other owners, they too said the same about the seat. looks like I'm going to need one too if I buy it. No one can convince me it's not a good bike to buy and enjoy. I'm really impressed.

I'm impressed with it. I haven't had the privilege of being able to do a test ride on one, but I like the seating position, I like the idea of using regular grade gasoline. right next to it was a hyabusa, and I tried it and I didn't like how you had to stretch to reach the handlebars . it would go crazy fast, but I knew right away it was for short trips only.

Nice pictures, beautiful colour, which is not available in Europe. But you do not show THE new feature of this new bike? It is the upgrade from 5 to 6 gear!

Cees ok, without narrations it's impossible to promote the new transmission or any other improvements. I've read up on it, sat on it, and I an convinced it is everything everyone says it is. the seat is the only complaint I have ever heard. too bad they don't go the extra mile and put a good seat on at the factory.
