That’s what I love Toyota. They make innovative stuff than many automakers don’t even think of. The sliding cupholders, the auto seat and all the other amenities. I’ve always bought nothing Toyota’s and always will.

Hey Mike, great review. These are nice vans, and it's got real tires instead of super low profile tires like is the trend. I don't like the all white lighting of the gauges personally, I like color, like my Jetta's indigo blue dials and red needles and other lights, also the orange of my Nissan Frontier. The needles should at least be a different color, for quick recognition.

This is not as safe and awesome as some may think!! I am in the middle of a lawsuit over my power access seat malfunctioning and going haywire..It extended a few inches, paused..made the turn then..made a grinding nose then all of a sudden it rocketed forward at high speed , tilted forward slightly then launched throwing my poor mother onto the pavement!! We were in shock as you can imagine but not as shocked at poor mother with blood all over her face and arms! Another owner, had a pet poodle that was trapped as the chair came back in crushing her poor companion!! Another elderly lady let her foot hang off the edge due to stroke foot drop and it was caught in the mechanism and since she had no feeling in her foot due to the stroke nerve damage, had no idea it was caught until she saw the red blood on the van's lovely light colored carpet! She then looked in horror as her foot was torn up and twisted completely around!! Yes, this seat is a death trap!! I' just waiting to hear about a child getting caught under this darn man eating access chair!!

Can this factory option be installed on a regular 2015 sienna xle? Or this option has to be purchased with brand new vehicle?

I just bought a Toyota sienna van , it has this type of access seat in the second row passenger side for the sliding door area, is there a tech sheet for removal? Do you buy used access seats?

I just purchased a 2018 LE with the AAS for $38, 300 plus tax & title. XLE is about $2,000 more. There is a $1.000 mobility rebate direct from Toyota after purchase if you have a doctor's note documenting the disability of the person you are getting this to transport.

Is there a way to remove this mobility seat and change for a normal seat in case we are done with the mobility one?
