I was extremely surprised at what I saw at South LA last weekend, and I'm really glad I did stop by. Cool to see how many LNG Octos they have had transferred to them in the past few years. Hopefully this and NC will be the dumping place for the rest of them running in the valley before they hit the scrap yard. I still can't believe they stole 3 of LA's baby trucks (lol) and salvaged a Volvo from the scrap yard. Well taken pictures Kevin.

Great video Kevin! I really liked helping out in the morning and cleaning trucks. I really like the variety of trucks SLA has. I'm really surprised how SLA has 2 Yellow Baby trucks, 1 LNG Pete Elliptical Mini, a Volvo from the scrap yard, and the Zoo truck but I know why the zoo truck was there. Going to the scrap yard was cool, I can't believe 221 and 202 got scrapped so fast, and it looks like 221 is staying there. Anyways great video Kevin!

Awesome video Kev! The event was so fun, im still surprised to see 012 and 994 there. I hope when we go to SLA they are used daily. Nice video again!

They have some awesome trucks here! Really like many of those older Ellipticals with the good mirrors lol and it's awesome that they have the original n3! Got some awesome roll offs too, that LNG Autocar is nice. How many does LA have? Lol at 0:37. I love the Octo FLs too, not to mention there was both Pete and Volvos, and even a brown one! And the yellow trucks were really nice. Hopefully more footage will pop up of South LA's trucks in action! Great video!

They sure do! LA had 4 Autocar Roll Offs (872-875) but East Valley's only Autocar Roll Off disappeared. I hope to film quite a lot in South LA this summer. Thanks Aaron!

nice job love the condors and peterbilts and autocars with vertical exhausts and the scrap yard what trucks were they selling with vertical exusts beside 221? How many are left in the company beside 243,196,197,285? Also how many baby trucks are left and the numbers? I heard from Erik that there were 16 left. What were they plan doing with 870 and that wasn't 869 was it I hope to see you at the west LA open house to find out if they use the cat c10 on the 2000 to 2004 trucks well done.

Thanks! Me too! They are also retiring 233 which has a vertical exhaust. They still have 218, 222, 223, 224, 226, 227, 230, 234, 237, 239, 242, 283, 286 and 287 as full size oldies with the exhaust. The old minis still left are 169, 175, 182, 185, 186, 188, 189, 253, 255, 264, 265, 273, 274, 275, 276, 277, 278, 282, and a few others others I can't remember. They were repairing 870.
