Beautiful. Trombone solo is so mature. Musicality is out of sight.

Because of Rita I have learned to love this song. I have listened to many versions of this samba and nobody sings with such feeling and swinging rhythms. Thank you Rita.

Rita is so good on trombone. So smooth. Additionally, there seems to be a great chemistry between all the girls during vocals. And, I’d be remiss if I didn’t acknowledge that this is a great band behind them. Love your music.

I find most of the tracks by these young people unbelievable! Their site is almost permanent listening for me.

I thought Billie Holiday immediately. I was stunned at how she sounds so much like her!

Wooow, Ignasi Terrazas Solo made me cry!! Beauiful

I am certain that Joan Chamorro will be revered for many years for his contribution to the development and his tuition to these young musicians and singers. They have taken jazz to a new level never seen before.

They're all from a different planet, that's not from earth. I've listened to so many of their songs and am still amazed at the maturity of the youngsters. Hard to believe it's possible.

Most just kids who live in the Sant Andreu section of Barcelona (or nearby) and were welcomed into Joan's public school music program without any previous musical training. Many started with Joan's program at age 12 or younger. Some as young as 6, I believe.

I love all of the Joan Chamorro magical musicians of all ages, have played all the videos I can find, always exciting and fun and inspiring. But on this track, on which everyone played wonderfully as usual, I do have to say that Ignasi Terraza's piano solo was in the jazz stratosphere in every way, classic killer modern jazz piano and I mean astonishingly so. What a great performance by everyone. Thanks so much Joan for bringing all this to the world. Such spirit and beauty is so badly needed.

That seems to have happened all around the world. Certainly here in the US the young people have no familiarity with what I call "real music" whether we speak of classical music, folk songs or jazz -- not even Big Band or Bossa Nova. I suppose the owners of recording companies want the young people to buy only their new material, so the radio stations that they control do not play anything before 1960, or from the wider world.

What an absolutely beautiful performance this is..they already have the fantastic legacy of Antonio Gaudi, now they can add Joan Chamorros masterful musicians..

The first time I've ever heard Samba em Preludio. It is beautiful. Now I'll listen again.

THIS SONG IS A MASTERPIECE… impossible to make it better

Rita, that was as well played a trombone solo as i've ever heard. The great slide masters Kai Winding, Jack Teagarden, J.J. Johnson et al could not have played it better. I sure hope you keep playing and singing like that!

Don't forget two of my favorites - Frank Rosalino and Curtis Fuller. Rita can hold her own with all these greats! Refreshing!

Just beautiful! Guitarist is amazing! Rita’s style is unmeasurable! Pianist perfect!

Really, really fine. Great opening. Beautiful singing. Great ensemble work. Wonderful solos. That said, Andrea's pop-in appearances epitomize by ideas of her from about 2014-18. I envision her pulling a little red wagon full of instruments, stopping by to see who needs what to round out a performance. Sax? Trumpet? Harmonizing? Duet? Solo for the instrumentalists? No problem. No wonder why she got so good. AND, if you think talking about her too much on Rita's nickel is a sign of disrespect, I'll point out I'm the guy who bought a trombone for his 69th birthday -- and she showed me how to hold it.

Rita , the guitar...THE PIANO...& all.....are Jazz in the best expression...……..Gracias !

Not too proud to admit that the duet at the end got me a little weepy. Gorgeous.

Bravo! Once again the awesome style, feminine passion, and talent of these young ladies, and the awesome talent and musical passion of the men brings tears of joy to my eyes!

I feel like crying listening to your children, Sir Joan Chamorro.... you are indeed a genius!

Beautiful vocal rendition by Rita. Super trombone solo too. Nice guitar accompaniment. Andrea’s vocal harmony was great too. Piano bass and drums are indispensable to any and all lead performers. These three never disappoint!

The musicians of this ""enchanting band"" are all "super spectacular" : this song is very difficult and the singers/musicians are very , very nice : many, many, many compliments for all .

En princípio, Vinícius no queria hacer la letra porque decia que era plágio de Chopin. Baden le contestó que el havia bebido demasiado whisky y el, entoces, se sento a la máquina e escribió la letra.
