Because Donald Trump is not only stupid and incompetent, but also a national security risk, this presidential election isn't nearly about party policy as it is about someone who can actually run the country. Like her or not, Hillary Clinton will keep America safe and won't plunge it into a third world war, something that with Donald Trump doesn't seem so improbable.

Stefano Bautista im just making fun of these people. Alex shouldnt have done what he did, he shouldnt have been spit on either. Thats between Alex and Jimmy, its all these whiners constantly spamming their tears. I used to watch Alex on access. The real shame about Alex is hes right a portion of the time, but he thinks the republican party is different than the democrats. So while he flips out about one thing hes nuzzling up to Donald Trumps ball sack when Trump is every bit as much a part of the problem as Clinton.

That was a summary? Nothing about Nina Turner, nothing about the manhandling of Sanders delegates on the floor, nothing about the use of paid seat-fillers (if a Sanders delegate left his seat to go to the bathroom he was immediately replaced by one), nothing about all of the engineering and manipulation used to create a false sense of party unity. Even the MSM made reference to some of these things, but not TYT. Disturbing and distressing. On top of that, almost nothing (really nothing at all) was said to win over young and liberal voters, who want to hear about peace (no more Libyas, no more support for jihadist rebels, no more Cold War arms buuildup), jobs (no more disastrous trade agreements), the environment (no more fracking), health care (single payer, no more phony programs that primarily benefit the insurance industry, pharmaceutical companies and hospital conglomerates), education (seriously addressing the college cost and debt problems)... the list goes on and on.

I understand why many progressives are upset and don't want to vote for Hillary- I am a huge Bernie supporter as well. However, at some point, you have to realize what the job of a president entails and recognize that Trump will actually be a complete and utter disaster. I don't know how you can support anything Bernie has said and vote in any manner that would enable a trump presidency to arise

I usually agree with Cenk, but honestly I don't think he's read the civil unrest like Jordan has just yet. The Clinton campaign and mainstream media continue to silence and dismiss Bernie supporters and their protests. That might leave the only way left to protest civilly will be to vote for a third party or write someone in.

I have to disagree with you. Trump is the corrupter, the one who was paying off the corrupt politicians, He BRAGGED about it during the primaries. He is a part of what is wrong with the system, he was on the supply end. He has some seriously repremandable ideas, like defaulting on the dollar, which would CRASH the American economy. The republican party is just as corrupt, and in the words of Jill Stein "You cannot have a revolutionary movement in a counter-revolutionary party" Both the DNC and RNC are that. They both benefit from this corrupt system, and the only way to beat it is to go outside of it. So no, DO NOT vote for EITHER of the two "Major" parties, they will take your message and corrupt it for their own gains. Stand up to them where they cannot control you!

I agree, but I'll play Devil's Advocate: The Republicans' weakness this year was lack of policy, and the Democrats' weakness this year was... well, _weakness_ (in defending themselves/not attacking), and lack of excitement. I think it would've done both of them well to actually make up for it during the convention. At least the Democrats are trying a little bit?
