Good video. However, tossing the 3sec staff up high and away from you is not considered a wise thing to do. This is for various reason. But good performance. anyway.

I've practiced with the three section staff for years. No weapon should be toss away from the body, a person may drop the weapon, lose control of it and injury a person nearby, or break something in the surrounding area. You know how many cheerleaders drop or miss catching their baton during a football game because they tossed the baton high up to the sky? It's careless. How many people dropped their nunchaku in attempts to catch it during practice? Not wise to do it.

youre gonna try to tell someone whose the chinese national wushu champion, what he shouldnt do, pretty sure he would be aware of any risks

@@jessepalacio6150 it imitates if enemy would hit your weapon off your hands so you're familiar how to catch it. not sure why they still have it in modern wushu lol
