Interesting diagnosis. On both initial startups #7 plug was firing but soon after you exited the vehicle the tester stopped blinking. I wonder if there was a loose connection on the plug wire either at the coil or the plug or a bad connection where the harness connects to the coil. After you swapped coils everything was firing. Did you find any cracks in the porcelain of the plug? That truck is in mint condition.

Yes by the time I got to see it it stopped sparking I didn't see it until I edited the video. I couldn't find any connection problems or any visual problems with the coil or plug but the new plug fixed it. I can only assume that the plug failed and may have been faulty for awhile before because after the guy picked up his truck he told me that when he starts the truck he could smell gas so maybe that plug was not firing on start up before and gradually got worse until this time when he brought it to my shop. Thanks for watching.

Yes and I didn't see it until the video but the computer is shutting it down because of the misfire.

I will but I was able to fix it. I also confirmed the fix. The guy has decided to drive it for a week. It is all good now he told me he has 500 miles since the repair which was 1 spark plug.
