How does these video have so low views and likes? Best car review channel on KZread, and I have seen them all
I like these reviews so much I find myself watching reviews for cars I don't even want, but the reviews are interesting and funny :)
These reviews are awesome! Well done Micah
Thanks for a great review and it looked like he was having so much fun.
Awsome review. Just now saw it 7yr later. I love mine and it is fantastic on the track
Another awesome review by KBB. I think the last gen of this corvette had heating issues. Sad to see it repeat itself here.
Im a Chevy guy but that overheating issue is concerning.

@@marklewin8 It's not an issue on the 2019's so there's no need to worry. But the mods would be upgrading the radiators and the supercharger cap.
This dude is great. I love the review, the presenter, and the vehicle (which I just bought)
It moves quicker than Justin Bieber's neighbors...hahaha that killed me.
Randy Pobst had the same suspension issues with it there months ago, and the heat and throttle mapping issues are infamous already too. That's commentary on Chevy...you guys are my favorite reviewers no matter when you get the car.
Micah, i always like your reviews man.
This is an excellent review. You got a new sub!
very good host!!just subscribed as he's not boring..
Love KBB's reviews 👍🏽
Micah, you're too funny. Loved the Michael McDonald. Good review. Do the Hellcat Challenger next.
great review as always!
Dude I really like your video's. Keep it up bro.
Wanted to get a nice weekend car, this was an option. I'm in hold to see if the overheating issues get addressed.
Love your channel. I've been noticing the refinement of your videos from the previous rigid delivery to the present. Keep making great content! Now that Carlos Lago is out of Motortrend and working for the pitiful Edmunds, I really don't think you have any viable competition as far as reviews are concerned. If you ever leave make us a goodbye video first and tell us where you're going, haha.
0:25 "Moved quicker than Justin Bieber's neighbors" lol funniest part
650 lbs/ft.... Simply AMAZING, very few cars have more than that... Only hyper cars
Note To self; do not disengage the stability control on the C7 Corvette if you know what's good for you. Those electronic controls are there to keep the driver safe and the C7 in one piece.

Great Review , I sure want one
The ONLY car I will be getting. It's just amazing
Micah Muzio looks really good in this Corvette. Someone should give him one! I wonder if a baby seat would fit in back?
Love it. Well, except for the over heating issues but is that only if i'm tracking the car and I'm driving an automatic?
I'm trying to remember a Z06 road test where there wasn't a significant problem. That's got to be embarrassing for GM. Still, I'd love to have one!!

Very good review and easy to understand. How about that overheating issue? No good for hot country with average of 35-40 Celsius?
Thanks for this quick review. I wonder about servicing and longer term livability, what are they like? Didn't the electronics tell you any fault codes? You can download a diagnostic tool to your damn iPhone nowadays that links to a Bluetooth dongle that attaches to a cars service port that will diagnose fault codes!! Love that. Also the reviewer is rather nice on the eye. Thanks! 😉
I prefer to rev match myself. That’s like the funnest part of the driving experience
Love this car!
You mentioned wanting to take the car to the track. I have a sports car that's demanding to be driven on the track too, but when I went to the beginner group they put me on the track with a lot of other cars and I was driving a few feet from them, which made me scared to death I'd spin out or do some kind of damage since I had no clue what I was doing despite having an instructor that couldn't care less about my driving. Do most tracks let you drive on the track when it's not packed with other cars?
I am badly in love with this car
Paddle shifters are actually quite fun to use

***** You make a quick comment on the engine overheating. Was the car set up for the track as per the manual? I personally have one without any issues/ also spent 2 days at Spring Mountain in 100+ temps with out any issue pushing the car through 25 minute minimum session's, no issues
@MicahMuzio
9 жыл бұрын
Kiel R We drove the vehicle as it was delivered, having announced our intentions to drive it on track beforehand. In examining the issue the Z06's Chief Engineer, Tadge Juechter, has mentioned heat issues related to the automatic transmission and the license plate position. But in our case neither of those factors applied. I know how hot it can get at Spring Mountain (love that track). Can you elaborate on any special prep you perform to get your Z06 track-ready?
@kerviper3742

***** There is not much the manual wants you to put DOT4 in the brakes, track alignment, and change the oil from the 5w-30 to 15W-50 for track use. If you have steel brakes your also suppose to install vent plates for brake cooling. I believe the autos to be more able to over heat by design since they still are fluid converters. When I was there we had 7 in our group some autos some M7, no one over heated except for one auto who ran 2 sessions back to back. Like I said before most sessions where 25-30 min, 5 in 3 hrs. Full A/C running with A/C seats. All cars stock with track prep per manual. What sessions lengths/brakes did you give the car during filming? How do you find out "special' set ups or not when you do reviews from the guys who give you the cars? I would think this would help make your review even more credible when you know ever detail about how the car should be when and can say "hey overheated on me and was set like the manual says". Just a thought for future reviews. I did enjoy the review, I feel you captured the car very well. PS I'm not an old guy with a Vette that doesn't use it properly

"Let's put in track mode". Yes, you're on a track. It should have been in track mode from the time you turned the car on. You also didn't mention the 5 different PTM modes that you get in track mode. You can completely adjust the amount of "management" you get, making it possible to drive as hard as you want while not being able to spin it, if that's what you want.
My job offers me a $7k discount on a well equipped corvette LT2 Z-51 (not Z06). I'm kinda torn between wanting that at around $60k vs a GT350R at about $63K + whatever price gouging
it didn't actually over heat. the corvette z06 has a thing in it and if the car is being used in a racing way it shuts down and says it over heated. its to protect the engine from damage.

Micah Muzio (is really a name? LOL) did an excellent job!!
Wonky handling that zapped our on-track confidence and the fact that it overheated while not even being lapped hard sounds like a huge victory for the common man...and woman.
My dream car
so when will Chevy start installation of the red button from Men in Black
Interesting. The car comes with both a manual gear shifting knob AND steering wheel mounted paddle shifters.
Black on Red has, and always will be a sexy color way.
Overheating? Apparently this isn't an issue with the standard Stingray. Why the hell is the hardcore track model less durable on the track than the regular model? Oh, and fun review.
What an awesome car😀
With enough horsepower, you could make a clay brick fly........... I LIKE this guy, interesting review..
I love this car but the overheating issue is a problem. Get on it CHEVY!
That badge inside with the power and torque specs, is incredibly crude
is it reliable?
In Tucson you'd be lucky to hit 110 at the end of the quarter

TNBposse haha man i really don't know why do manufactors release cars with simple problems as overheating. I mean they test them im sure they have experienced all the problems it could have why do they still release them in dont get it
I have been a Corvette fan for almost 40 years, worked on them, driven over 20 years worth of them, but damnit, I am a little disappointed. The C7 Z06 is an animal at the drag strip and on the road course, but they do get hot. Since I have only seen one one up close, I noticed the radiator looks like a 1 or 2 row core which is insane. This would explain some of the problem. The ZR1 had the crap beat out of them in all types of temperatures, testing and the interior would overheat before the powertrain. I never heard of the ZR1 overheating. I just don't understand why they wouldn't use atleast a 3-4 core radiator to dissipate the tremendous heat especially with the A8 fluid going into the tank.

If you get a 8-speed automatic the 0-60 is 2.9 seconds, which is faster than the manual.
