Only 237 thumbs up? I thought this was a good review. A good friend let me drive his 2017 vett back to my hotel for the night. Wow, is fantastic. I had 2 C4s and I loved them. This C7 is so much better. I'm blown away. Driving down Dayton Beaches A1A that was fun.

It is fun just to floor it and let the transmission do all the thinking, and it is so smooth. I was shocked when I braked hard in Track Mode and my 2015 automatic downshifted so quickly, slowing the car faster than a human could using a manual transmission.. The whole car is computer controlled and it is so smart. Greg

It will downshift automatically when braking hard in sport mode also.

I drive that road all the time (squaw pass)...well, except now since it's december. i have a 2016 NRB 7sp and it's a huge blast. cant wait until i can get it back out there. great review! maybe i'll see you out there sometime. happy motoring!

Nice review...looks like you have fun! The new Stingray is a great car, ive had 2 previous vettes (C5 & C6) and the C7 blows them away.

The C7 Stingray is actually $54k not $70k. Just wanted to point that out because you have to add a lot of stuff to it to get it up to $70k. But you can have a Stingray for a lot less than $70k.

I wish my mustang gt would shut down 4 cylinders.

One thing i noticed, your speach is kind of monotonic and a bit into the serious side of you and when you say Woohooo!! i don't feel like the way you speak really fits that excitement haha. not saying anything was bad though. great job and thanks for the info.

I can't get myself to like the body style of the c7. I prefer the c6 grandsport/c6 z06 body style better. not sure why

I have a 2010 grand sport. I love it, but the c7 looks better to me.

You are a minority. Sales have doubled since the c7 and the average age has come down. I'm 47.

Idk why ppl like the stingray when it has less power then the z06 c7 for the same amount of money

The Z06 is $77,000 and the stingray $56,000

Poor video quality, the zooming and refresh rate seems poor

Corvette on the front, a sub-par wannabe Camaro on the back.. Chevrolet has royally screwed-up the C7.. I have NO IDEA what the designers at Chevrolet were thinking to destroy one of the classic trademarks of the car, and less what the executives were smoking to get it approved. Either the C8 gets back a proper Corvette rear with round lights (ot at least an exclusive look no matter the lights' shape) or this melting pot between Corvettes and Camaros as far as Im concerned is the end of the road for this car. Long live the C1 thru C6!
