Back when LoL-Esports was a lot more enjoyable in general. Magic has been gone since 2017 IMO.

2023, SKT T1 did it again, their 4th time championship!!!

+m nguyen The cameras were quiet annoying tho. I was at the Finals in the front row near the summoners cup, and they shot the same scene like 10 times in a row, runing up and down the freaking stage.

SKT was unbeatable in this time, Marin, Faker, Bang is stronghest carry in their role this time. Bengi is best mind in controling map and Wolf is engage machine. Best team ever in League history.

2015 worlds for me will always be best worlds because of the iconic moments and the stories behind it all. My first time watching competitive league, the skt dynasty, east vs west in semis, the excellent generation of hype, Faker proving that he's the greatest player in history, underdog stories, the iconic plays, etc. I absolutely loved it

This feels incredibly nostalgiccc. I want to cry!! Bring back these golden days please.

This was a great Worlds, I hope we'll get to see lots of the players again next Worlds. This video captured some great scenes perfectly and makes me feel kinda sad that it's over :c And for some reason Phreak saying "There is no base left, there's only victory" in combination with that Westdoor scene always gives me goosebumps

+Tito wukong not seeing how this was a bad worlds. I mean yea it did have only korean finals but the lms region and wildcard regions actually played a factor this worlds. And even though NA got destroyed in the last week of group stages, the west showed that they arent just a bunch of random teams that are there for asian teams to beat, they proved that they have the ability to compete with all the world class teams.

Richard sperta you have to realize the only "god" korean team this year really was skt. KT had very very close games with origen, and koo lost to flash wolves twice. Even with that we saw the best performance from lms and wildcard regions that weve ever seen. not to mention this was pretty much the best worlds for eu since like season 1. and we also got to see the fall of chinese teams, considered the 2nd best region in the world. only one chinese team got through groups, and they lost in the quarter finals to an EU team. that would have never even come close to happening last year or in season 3

I don't care what anyone says but koo tigers won a match against skt t1 and NO ONE ELSE DID, that is enough for them to win my respect. GO ROX TIGERS

So glad koo tigers even won that match, Hojin almost got a penta kill to start the game, skt were trying to get themselves killed or something that game, my friends talked about if skt even won that game, it would've been the most awkward game ever, it's kinda like a game that skt wanted koo to win.

I was in berlin in the finals and while the games were played most of the time there was a koo tiger hype never a SKT it was so sick everyone was crying Koo Tigers Clap Clap Clap and the lights changed n stuff unforgettable experience

Yeah, and did you see SKT's faces? Faker literally flashed into 3 people, then laughed as they killed him. Pretty sure they were seeing just how much of a deficit they could come back from - and guessed wrong. That or they were just trolling. They clearly were int feeding for the first 12-15 minutes.

faker became 2 time world champion. undefeated all star champion. 4 times lck champion. undefeated on 14 champs. his mere presence on the map is enough to pressure the game. he gets so much respect bans and teams literally build countercomps to him specifically. he is undoubtly the best player in the world... yet some people are callling him overrated.

+skt t1 vvvortic Teams are building a full countercomp againt faker, but they forget Marin. He's not 'better' but he's as good as faker in what he's doing. They are both almost perfect in their jobs, which are very different. You can say Faker is the best midlaner, but you can't say he's the best player.

+Anatole TÉNARD faker in lck was like 14th mid laner who was getting income and was 3th damage dealt mid laner. in worlds he was the 2nd least income mid laner and was top 5 damage dealt. marin is literally getting all the resources and jungle pressure and does as much as fakers does with less. gold income in skt is marin, bang and then faker. and faker was playing scaling champions. this skt before bengi and faker (sister team) was a mid tier challenger team. and now they won worlds. must be marin bang and wolf right? and dont ever mention other players with faker again they dont come in a conversation with him...

+Anatole TÉNARD you can say that faker is the best player in league of legends history, ever. The difference between faker and the second best midlaner is so huge. But there are people, including myself that think that marin isnt even the best toplaner. That is the difference and why faker is the best player in league of legends. No matter what role, what time period.

2015-2017 SKT was unmatched. Rewatching some of these old vids right after they secured 1st in their group at worlds this year!

Thanks for summarizing the last month. One of the most exciting months every year.

Just saw the groups draw for the 2016 Worlds and immediately came to see this, oh man can´t wait.

Even now with the new Worlds breaking, I'm back for the chills.

yesterday Faker won his 4th Worlds.

It was great to be there in Berlin. Had so much fun and met a lot of nice people and some pretty awesome cosplays aswell! Thanks Rito!

What about 2019's spring split Origen? Shockingly made it to LEC finals, and got swept in the fastest EU finals ever by G2 (who went on to have the fastest final on an international stage vs TL from NA)

ikr there was no epic opening ceremony like last year. the result was predictable unlike the other years.(well s4 us debatable.) Also the ending was so lame, all rito did was give us brief interviews of the players and gave them the awards. Last year's ending was so much hype! I guess Asians really do beat us at everything lol.

+Billal Naseem That's because in Korea, League of Legends is a culture, it's an actual sport, while in the Western world it's still only a video game, nothing else, prizes or not, it just isn't a sport, maybe in a few years. Korea embraces the game and takes it to another level with events, while NA and EU still make it look like Dreamhack Season 1, really sad. Tho MSG this year was a nice touch, I'll admit that.

+IFaceYourPalm I'm korean, and westerners romanticize gaming in asia way too much. People who play get shunned, you have to register with your ssn in order for the government to control your account, and it isn't approved even if you are amazing... The only reason that they are so much better than any other region is because of the work ethic they have and the effort that they put in. If you do something you give 110%, that is the asian way.
