During this presentation, we will take a 1st person look at what the vehicle is all about beginning with the start up, performance data, fuel economy, the occasional track data, and build quality. Also, I will teach you how to use most of the interior and exterior features in a detailed fashion, that before, you could only get from going to a dealership yourself! Throughout the video, I will highlight key styling and unique differences about the vehicle, any available options, and of course it would not be an enthusiast car video without the good ole engine portion with rev and exhaust note with interior and exterior perspectives. A thorough tour/review of this car designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.
FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE CHANNEL SEE BELOW: In this channel you will find in depth educational videos of automobiles from all over the world, presented in a more detailed fashion than ever before. Basically, this gives the viewer the chance to view the most detailed 1st person look you can get without going to an actual dealer yourself! Every video is consistent in the way I present so viewers know what to expect in my presentations. I treat every vehicle with the same respect whether a 1960 Chevrolet Impala SS or the 2012 Lamborghini Aventador. I film all types of vehicles from past, present, and future while broadening the knowledge of the automotive enthusiast. You will see everything from vintage, brand new, exotic, mainstream, old, etc. I am very proud of this channel and have built it up from amateur videos years ago to what you see today. I wanted to share my love for the automotive world with the rest of the world. Be sure to explore the massive video variety, have fun and enjoy The Driver's Seat of KZread!

    ***** He doesn't go foreign high end and neither do I. We both prefer big ole iron pumping, gas guzzling V8 torque monsters. But when it comes down to German reliability it's all about those classic Merc Diesels... pretty much ends there as well. See now, the biggest issue that most European and lately some American car manufactures are having(*Cough Ford cough*) is the push for high HP ratings in a small form factor. High displacement with lower Hp and higher torque ratings will generally last longer then a low displacement, high horsepower engine. In my own yard I have two 1990's Chevy pickups, one has a 5.7L(350CI) V8 that is all original at 640,000km. The other truck is a 6.5L Turbo Diesel that has 780,000km and is all original as well(A little tired albeit). Both of these trucks make decent horsepower but they maintain that reliability that more modern and most European powerplants lack.

    Again, Kyle, another great video review. However, could you consider expanding your range into Motorcycles? I'm sure dealerships would let you get a hold of some of their models. (Without the Test Drive if you aren't comfortable with that). Honda CBR, Kawasaki Ninja, Suzuki GSXR, Triumph, Ducatti, etc.. Or even Cruisers. It would help me as a viewer to get a credible review on all of the specs that these motorcycles have to offer. Either way, happy to be a fan of your channel!

    I can't say it enough how happy you have to be about the car prices in the US. Just to illustrate it: Here in Germany from where we would be able to pick up our brand new Range Rover at the Factory (in Solihul in the United Kingdom) after breakfast and be easily home for dinner we would have to pay for the exact same car 105.000€ which is about $115.000.

    I've driven the regular Range Rover SDV8 Autobiography once, and I must say it's a very impressive car. The only thing I still question about Land Rover is the reliability. The SDV8 that this buddy of mine owns had several minor malfunctions from the moment he got it. In the Netherlands, where I live, the SDV8 with the specs he got costs about 200.000 euro's (about 225.000 dollars) and I think it's really unacceptable that a car of that price has issues like a seatbelt that doesn't work properly, interior lighting that breaks down and also one time, the mechanical booth that didn't close. Luckily for this buddy of mine, Land Rover service is pretty good.

    Great video! Tons of great content here, thanks for posting. This video helped me learn a lot about my L494 when I bought it. Question - When you start up a 2014 SC, the engine sounds much louder at first compared to when it warms up (takes about 30 seconds on my L494) and adjusts to regular idle RPM, can anyone explain what is happening in this process? Almost sounds like the exhaust is fully opened up but then closes a bit.

  • @lukassuter4481

    @lukassuter4481

    Жыл бұрын

    Hey, i‘m a Car-loving kinda guy and i can help you. What you are talking about is a so called „cold start“. The car starts this Process when the engine is completly cold. In this process the Engine starts with the Exhaust Flaps open and a higher RPM so the engine can heat up to e certain Temperature more quickly. By opening the flaps there is more Flow in the exhaust and as i said, the engine can hest up more quickly. As soon as the Thermometer gets a certain Temperature, the Flaps close and the rpm go down to the normal state. As a little trick for you, when you start the Engine and it does the „cold start“, the best thing is to do nothing and let it idle to the normal rpm. When it hits the normal rpm, its ready to go and you can drive off. Hope i could help you, even if this comment is 2 Years old ^^ Best greetings from Switzerland Lukas
