I went into the dealership in 2020 looking for a manual 2013 red Boxster S and left with a Yellow 2014 base PDK. My car turns heads every day i drive it. Id really like to try the S version to see the difference.

Does the rear trunk get hot since it's near the engine, like the C8s do? One poster suggested removing the trunk and lining the part facing the engine with heat-resisting insulation.

Great question. It does get warm, but typically I only put chairs and golf clubs there, so never an issue. The frunk is where I put the picnic basket with ice and what not.

Do you like the different seat adjustments? Does it have lumbar support? Thinking about trading my base in for S.

Thanks for the comment. Yes, I like the seat adjustments a lot. It has lumbar and under thigh support as well. If you have long legs. It’s great. Gives you added support.
