The full Drive & Sound of the all new 2014/2015 Mercedes C-Class (W 205 C-Klasse) as the entry level C180 powered by a 1.6 liter 4-cylinder Turbo delivering 156 hp and 250 Nm of torque. This particular car was equipped with the optional 7G-TRONIC PLUS transmission which I found quite ok, although that the wide ratio of the transmission probably better suits the torquey diesels (C220 BlueTec) in the lineup. Still, shifts are mostly quick and smooth but not being on the same level of the 8-speed ZF that I drove in the BMW 316i (F31) earlier this year. But enough about engine and transmission, what really blows aways competitors are suspension (Agility Control) and steering. The car feels very light, yet luxury sedan like, it feels sporty and nimble, yet very comfortable on country roads and Autobahn. In my eyes the best ride in class! Also the design inside and outside is great. Take this with AMG Line (like on the T-Modell I filmed a few days ago) and you have an awesome car. But now its your turn. Bend Em The noise comes from the injectors, which is common for direct injection petrol engines.
Schade, dass Du immer nur mit Gaspedalstellung "Bodenblech" fährst. Mich würden die Schaltzeiten der 7G-Tronic Plus unter Fahrbedingungen im Alltag interessieren. Habe denselben Motor als C180 T-Modell (Bj. 12/2013) auch mit Automatikgetriebe. Im Vergleich zum W204 (auch mit dem selben Motor) kommen die Schaltzeiten hier im W205 fast an ein Doppelkupplungsgetriebe hin. Kann natürlich sein, dass es hier auch am Fahrmodus Sport liegt. Der W205 ist schon ein tolles Auto, aber man merkt an einigen Ecken, wo gespart wurde (im Vergleich zu meinem S204). Das aufgenageltes Navi ist nicht mein Fall und einfach so schnell eine Telefonnummer wählen, geht mit dem 205 nicht mehr, mein 204 hat noch die Zifferntastatur.

Evtl. werde ich solche Szenen von Beschleunigung im normalen Fahrbetrieb in Zukunft wieder häufiger mit einfließen lassen. Die Schaltzeiten der "neuen" 7G-Tronic sind in jedem Fall deutlich besser als beim Vorgänger. Wie du schon sagt fühlt sich das fast wie ein Doppelkupplunsgetriebe an. In SPORT sind die Schlagzeilen natürlich noch schneller, aber der generelle Charakter bleibt auch im normalen "D", das bisher beste Getriebe das ich in einem Mercedes gefahren bin.

Automann-TV Can you add please beside the 0-100, can you add 60-100 or 80-120km/h? I think that would be great if you can add into your videos from now on and see how the car accelerates when you try to make an overtake :)

Good idea. Sometimes is more important to see how a car runs in a specific gear from x km/h to y km/h, rather than 0-100.

Engine seems very slow revving (like a diesel).
I am sorry but why are you reving the engine and generally treating this saloon car as if it was a sports model. It's rather silly to be honest. And driving gloves? really??
Prefer this c180 to c200. plus going by the looks, this is the last 'good looking' design language of the c class. Mercedes decided to change their design language. The post 2020 c class looks 'froggish'😢

It’s a 1,6 Turbo.Toyota Corolla is a standard 1.8.

@@cihansixtyone9529 Die Motoren OM 622 und OM 626 sind Vierzylinder-Dieselmotoren der Daimler AG und entstammen der strategischen Kooperation mit Renault-Nissan. Zuerst eingesetzt wurde der OM 626 im Herbst 2014 in zwei Modellen der C-Klasse (Baureihe 205).

Wow this is the worst sounding Mercedes Benz engine I've ever heard. If I had the money to buy a Mercredes Benz it surely will not be this one. Way too much cheap plastics too.
