Old Myths and New Designs: The New Simple Rules for Health Systems
To achieve the "Triple Aim" of better care for individuals, better health for populations, and lower per capita costs requires new designs for health systems. It also requires relinquishing a number of time-honored beliefs and norms that inhibit progress. This lecture highlights both - the old, somewhat mythical principles that no longer serve us well, and the new, powerful design principles the hold the keys to transformed care.
