KVD had those flurries and caught fish after fish and he got maybe a minute of time in the show, not to mention got second in the tournament?! That was surprising to me.

What part of the TN River do you fish? I live in Alabama so I fish lake Guntersville and we catch toads frogging and flipping the grass matts.

Them 4 5 and heavy 6 pounders are so fun to catch with 4lb line i hate watchin fellas use 20 plus braid yanking on thw line to bring em in, takes the sport out of sport fishing and turns it into muscle fishing which is extremely boring.

Even the youtubers that do the bass fishing thing man, there fishing 65 pound braid on 80 pound wire shit, but as a pro you should know how to set the hook not just yard on your rod also to be able to fight a fish without just over powering it, and even the commentary guys say it's a sport it's not just about the money it's also about the fun in fishing should be anyways...

@@devinhoyt8396 I mean four pound line could make sense for finesse techniques but anything like jig fishing, flipping, or frogging is gonna require braid or your gonna break em off. They also come off if you play the fish to much.

Oh.. I haven't ever had that problem yet, my abu garcia is the only rod I own with 8 pound plus line and I will never use braid on a frog always cheap Walmart line do to the walmart stuff disappears after it gets wet braid sticks out like a black eye on top of the water, I've also learned stuff like mono I feel hits better, I use a jig on 8 pound absolutely I agree heavier line the better for jigs specially cause I use jigs mainly in rivers so might accidentally hook into a sturgeon or king possible steely or when I'm far enough up river it dumps right into the ocean do I have a chance of catching the rock bass and a few other heavy hitting bottom fish
