Upgrade the factory radio found in your 2015-2022 Mustang to a state-of-the-art touch screen navigation/entertainment system with a Navos Full Screen OE-Style Touchscreen Display. This Navos Navigation/Entertainment System features a 12.1-inch touch-screen LCD display with a factory style dash bezel that maintains an OE-Style appearance. With the Android 8.1 Oreo operating system this nav unit is not just a larger display, it also includes iGO NextGen Navigation Software, AM/FM Tuner, Multimedia Player and PhoneLink capability. You get all these great features in one unit.
iGO NextGen Navigation. The Navos Navigation System is pre-loaded with state of the art iGO NextGen software. iGO NextGen provides voice and visual turn-by-turn directions to any destination in North America with an easy to follow full screen display. In addition, iGO includes 2D and 3D modes, as well as topography and 3D building views for major cities.
Entertainment System. This is not just a Navigation Unit. This is a complete Multi-Media Entertainment System that plays all your music and video files via USB connectivity. This Navos Navigation System also features a built-in high quality 4x45 Watt amplifier with equalizer and digital signal processing for clean undistorted sound. The included digital AM/FM Radio Tuner with RDS, 12 FM presets, 6 AM presets will allow you to listen to all of your favorite local AM and FM stations. This Entertainment System can also operate as a WIFI hotspot for downloading apps and web browsing.
Android App Compatible. Seeing that this Navos Multi-Media Entertainment System is Android powered it is compatible with all the popular Android apps available on the Play Store, including Google Maps and Waze for traffic, as well as Spotify, Pandora, Netflix and literally millions of others.
Twelve-Inch Touch-screen Display. The original factory equipped navigation screen is small and can be hard to read. To fix this embarrassing issue, Navos includes a significantly larger, 12.1-inch LCD capacitive anti-glare Touch-Screen display, making it much easier to read at a quick glance.
PhoneLink System. Featuring PhoneLink System technology, the Navos Navigation/Entertainment Unit is both Android and Apple compatible so you can pair your mobile phone or device wirelessly to the system. This enables you to have hands-free control for making calls or streaming music over your car's stereo.
Retains Back-up Camera. For safety and convenience, Navos includes the needed input to retain your factory back-up camera's functionality. The camera will operate exactly the same as before and will automatically activate when the vehicle is shifted into reverse. The only difference is your view will be on a much larger and easier to see 12.1-inch display. This unit will also support additional aftermarket front, rear or right cameras.
If Equipped. If your Mustang is so equipped you can display your factory parking sensors on screen, as well as touch screen climate controls.

Can you guys do an installation guide for GT500 Track Pack style spoiler?
Removes the toggle switches on premium mustangs just a heads up if you have them. This is a nice head unit for base mustang folks looking for a great upgrade but if you have the toggle switches (hazard lights, traction, drive mode, steering mode) I would opt out of this and look for a sync 3 8 inch upgrade as it will hold your value better and asthetically looks better.

I'm debating between this one and the Linkswell upgrade for my Mustang
Can you the install with the small screen that comes with the base model?
When upgrading from the 4in screen to this screen, does it make the drive modes work?
How is the internal amp quality of this radio compared to say a pioneer head unit?
Is there anything like this for the early s197s?
Would it be hard to remove cluste panel to be able to install additional video interface hdmi input but in2024 mustang
Does Navos send updates for this system, if they don't update or provide updates on their site, I rather not take a chance of being stuck with a outdated buggy $1200 andriod tablet in my center console. While Ford provides updates on Sync to fix issues and add features.
Just returned one today cause it started to have lines all over the screen. Spend a little more and get a name brand unit. Have in mind that the kit itself is like 500 bucks plus the unit of your preference.

How does a navigation system work with just a hotspot or like the original without doing anything? what kind of navigation sync, google… or which one? how do the apps work with hotspot or what? Example: I have no cell phone, no internet, how does it all work? Thanks in advance for your answers

@@noelsianjavier6723 stills works great. Sometimes I’ll have to unplug and replug in my phone for it to recognize apple car play but that happens maybe once a week. Other than that I still love it. Haven’t tried any wireless apple car play adapters yet but thinking about it.
Is there room to plug in a radar detector in the cigarette lighter on the bottom? Looks kinda small to me.

Phoenix Android radio does have android auto and Apple car play and it's under $100 with either sync 1 or 3
Android 8.1 is 5 years old. It went End Of Life over a year ago. Any chance Navos updates it to Android 12 ?

Can't understand why I can't use genuine installed microphone, wi-fi and satelite signal? Do I really have to pass cheap RCA wire, also glue somewhere on the front glass gps signal and wi-fi antenna and cheap microphone under steering wheel? :/ If it's like that so this is pretty scrappy cheap unwanted radio, sorry about that. Not sure if gonna working properly: reverse parking sensors with wheels direction indicator, premium audio with shaker subwoofer, all genuine USB ports, all buttons on steering wheel etc.
Great video. I think people are getting stuck in the weeds here. The plastic chrome toggle switches look cheap and tacky. So losing them shouldn't be a big deal. As for losing any value because of that, any time you put in an aftermarket system in your car, you'll lose value. So again, no biggie. I have not looked up the system yet, but will. With that said, why need wifi? The wifi, unless it has it's own service is just ran off your cell phones hotspot. If that's the case, why use a middle man (device) which slows connection. If I have a laptop/tablet I'd just connect that to my phones hotspot. So the wifi is redundant, or in my opinion, useless. Now if it's needed to the system to update, that's different. The other kink would be that mic! Almost all cars have hands free. I'm guessing there's no way to use the factory mic? Either way, this seems like a nice system for a base model car. The video was to the point and clear. Very nice.
How is the back-up camera for this?

Looks like you slapped a tablet with some buttons. Sucks it removes toggle switches and towards the bottom it dosent look right
$1300 is kind of pricy considering that a nice double din Sony unit with apple carplay and android auto is only $350

No apple car play / android play??????
I’ve never been a fan of these screen replacements. They can be slow and freeze and just a pain in the butt. Since this is running Android 8 don’t be surprised if apps just stop working.
Unfortunately, the toggle switches is what makes the Mustang Unique, I wish they kept it in the screen! This one is a no go for me and it’s expensive

Wired Apple Car Play is supported? That was the deal breaker for me when I was watching this or even the ability to have wired audio as BT audio is terrible IMO.

@@otacon72 Yes it has wired Car Play. There is a Gen 5 which has wireless car play.
That mic was a kill. They could've done a better job by just integrating it into the unit.
So close yet so far, seems crazy that they didn't update the most important part the software, a 2012 head unit in a 2022 design.

I own it and it’s a POS. Don’t get it.
1st of all this system is out of stock and out of date....it has been for nearly 2 years it's been on the website...you finally put out a super long video on the install without a review just so you can go to the website to see it's out of stock! You guys are starting to get lame and seemingly desperate for clicks.
This radio has lots of issues. Loose buttons, HVAC stops working intermittently, switches to HDMI mode randomly.... Looks OEM tho

Tell Navos nice build ,but go back to to lab and add the 2 biggest selling phone platforms in the world to your device for $1500.00 if you want to sell this expensive old android 8.1 operating crap
Okay, $1500 for a dead 5 yr old OS, no Android/Apple play, and it covers up the toggle switches. Yeah, this option is a no brainer if you have a lot of money but no brains to go with it.
Your are better off buying a Samsung Tablet or Ipad and getting a holder for it onto your head unit or windshield.
He didn't hook up everything he needed and he hooked the anntena wire to the wrong plug...
Don't waste your money not worth the money have this in my car ac right side blows heat the voice button don't work to make y issues.. andoid auto is no longer an option....
