I have a platinum trim removing the glass of the housing still the same or not since i have heated and blis also when you turn on the spotlight will it be amber or white like the original

That's a great mod. The smallest things really do give a BIGGER appearance.

Bought these lights for my 2015 F150; driver's side worked fine but passenger side did not work properly barely blinking on the end. I returned them and AT sent me a replacement set. Results was the same. I am now waiting on a third set and pray they work because if not it will be the last set I try. It's a shame because they do look good installed and when they work. I am surprised no one at AT has addressed this issue as I'm not the only one who has complained of this problem. Customer service has been great from AT and all the other LED lights I've purchased from them have worked flawlessly.

Just finished the install on these. Looks great on my black truck. I put a small crack in the mirror on the passenger side. Very small crack but I knew it was there. Got a new mirror from Amazon for $31.00. Very happy with the looks!

So glad you wore that mask. I was really worried I’d be able to clearly understand everything in the video. Thank you for ensuring the safety of all of everything else in this world.

I ordered the Axial sequential led signal lights for my 2017 F150 and it arrived today, 3/08/2021. It was so easy to install and what a difference it made. Love the truck’s new look. I highly recommend it.

Just installed and it looks great. Be careful with the mirror removal. I broke mine. There’s actually a place where you can insert a thin flathead to pop the mirror tabs away. This assembler made it look way too easy to remove. Now I’m out $60 to replace my mirror. My fault

I have the spot light mirror too. That is what those 4 LEDs are for. I never had a need to use those since I bought my truck in 2017.

You will lose it. I know it’s 2 years later but you never got answered 😂.

You lost the spot light function with this light thats what those four leds are the stock one

2:18 That's how to potentially destroy a $300 piece of OEM Ford glass and/or the $80 mirror motor as well. The metal tabs do not hold the mirror on by the way ...8 plastic clips hold the mirror onto the mirror motor. If you don't snap the glass in-half you probably break 1 or 2 plastic clips off doing it this way.

Agreed. The mirror does not come off like that with a good yank at least for me it didn’t. There is a place to use a flathead screwdriver

@@BIGGant That's right! I probably should make a video because I've removed the glass from roughly 300 F150 mirrors. Silly but true :)

I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around the fact that he's sitting there comparing the two lights and somehow he forgets to mention "OH YEAH, you do lose the spotlight aspect with the morimotos which was the big pitch with these factorycmirror lights anyways but eh they look cool now so hey"

I got the morimotos for my 2017. I love the lights, but the driver side housing is no longer flush at the seam… anyone else have that issue?

@@Ish4899 Factory side mirror lights has a spotlight function that can light up the sides of the truck. My 16 lariat has it, but i don't think its on all the trim lvls. I actually forgot about that since i never use them. Good comment, I almost pulled the trigger on these.

Mine didn't come with led on the mirror. Oh well

My 2016 E 350 van has no orange mirror lights from factory and I want to add them, any tips? Its a 16 e350 cutaway chassis econoline superduty has electric and heated mirrors. (Shuttle bus)

Can you have these stay on while you drive ?

I installed the clear light version a few days ago and am having issues with the left/driver’s side. It works fine when the engine isn’t running but as soon as I turn on my truck the light starts to sputter and flicker. Passenger side works fine. I am running OEM amber turning bulbs in my Anzo switchback headlights so I’m wondering if this is creating the issue.

Same problem! Already returned once and just received a replacement. Passenger side/ prongs don’t match to oem. Don’t get the full sequential light

Yeah. Perfectly explains how to crack your mirror glass yanking it up and out. 😡😡😡

These Mirror Marker Lights from Axial are made specifically for 2015-2018 model F150s, AmericanTrucks cannot confirm fitment on 2020 models at this time with these specific lights. Sorry! -Zach
