my 2005 D4D estate chipped to around 175 to 180 ish BHP will go almost straight up to around 235, the speed clock does not begin to slow till around 200 onwards, it flies up there. From 80 or 90klms to 180 /200, a good 330i BMW has to fight hard to get away from it

@@killianwalsh6334 Fact, YES the A 330 286BPH WILL WIN, 100% no way it will smoke it. ( the 2.ltr, yep it will) How do I know. We have tried it, with very good example of the 330. He had to kick the crap out of it to get away. My one, is the 2.2 D4D 175bhp it's no push over. You wanna smoke it , go buy an M3 now 100% it will smoke it, leave it for dead, thats smoking something. Colorful words only. 10 or 12 BHP is a very little difference. Get an education !!

How much liters fuel comps?

This is a little underpowered for a 2.0 Diesel, though it is extremely reliable and economical. one of the more reliable Toyota diesel engines compared to horrifically unreliable 2.2 diesels, this 2.0 unit is bullet proof, albeit underpowered though.

I agree 0-60 in 9secs according to manufactor specs. Most 2.0d do under 8seca now. However I owned 2 avensis' and both have been very economical, reliable and punchy at motorway speeds.

@@jakelamotta2387 This one did 0-60 in 12 seconds, I really doubt it can go anywhere near 9 seconds maybe 10 seconds at best.

@@MrRohanThomas I counted 11.2 secs roughly which is still terrible yes. Had their been a decent driver behind the wheel it could easily be 10secs and maybe even a late 9seconds. Manufactors still claim 9secs though which means it's still capable of it.

190km/h on taho it's about 180km/h on gps.My Vectra c at 200 had 187km/h on gps and hidden meniu of board computer.

I have the se car and can reach GPS 192 kmh very easy, my car also seems to accelerate quicker. Indicated 200 can be passed easy.

Get it chipped , makes some difference!

A year later I say you are right, i now have a D4D corolla, and has a power range between 3000 and 4000 rpm
