It’s amazing how different this course looks nowadays. A good handful of the lines these guys are throwing aren’t even possible anymore.
Amazing footage. Im so glad u were there. I used to live in rochester and loved watching the top dogs play the courses i used to play. Props to Dave, but poor Simon. Three stroke lead w/ 3 to go. Cant see that happening to Paul. The good news is, Simon will learn from that and has many more years to get better. What he can do w/ a putter is just amazing. All 4 guys on top card were very classy the entire tourny and should be proud of their efforts.

+Ted Naylon are you THE Ted Naylon... Rochester Ultimate League legend guy?
McFly I love your work and especially NO COMMENTARY!!! It is great fun watching and hearing the play without some blah blah blah chatter telling me exactly what I am watching. It's like I'm there just watching with the gallery. Keep up the great work!
I love it. Heard earlier in the match by Feldberg: "can't stop a guy when he's on fire like that." *comes back from 3 strokes down in 4 holes to win.*
Nice win for Feldberg......one hell of a clutch putt to force the playoff!! I could tell he seemed to have a different attitude this tournament compared to most of this year.....might have made the difference for him.....Thanks McFly!
Once again an awesome job by McFlySoHigh. Thanks for bringing us the action all season! Big Congrats to Dave Feldberg!
Love seeing pros play a course I play all the time
Another fantastic video. Thanks for all of your great videos and all that you do.
And yay for Feldberg. He needed this.
Thanks for the awesome coverage. it's great to see Worlds,USDGC,NT, and some supertours/A tiers covered in so many ways these days. Nice play Dave. rock on!
What a finish! Kudos Felberg!!!
Good coverage, thanks! Heck of a finish by Feldberg.
You could tell Dave was focusing well on his playing. Though he missed 3-4 birdie opportunities he kept his cool and shook it off each time. Definite change in his attitude(caught on camera) over other tournaments this season.

it's the beard, must be. congratulations dave, stay positive and good things start happening.
What a finish! Love it
Epic ending. Dave deserved this W. #BringBackFeldbeard
Great video! Sharing.
So awesome
Great video and thank you for your time in filming. The information is wrong though. He won the NT Kansas City Wide Open in 2012. So 2010 is not correct.
fantastic
simon, simon, simon.... *shaking head in disbelieve*
Ive watched several McFly SoHigh Videos. And I love watching them. So this is not a negative comment at all. Just a suggestion. But in a lot of videos, the cameraman stand directly behind the player throwing. Then once he/she's thrown, they continue to zoom in on the players back as if we can see through the player. LOL. It happens all the time. Then, when it happens for one player, the cameraman doesnt move over a foot to get a shot of the basket, he continues to stay there and zoom in on their back. Again, I love the videos, but that part aggravates me. Love watchin the pros play! Thx for all your videos and hard work!
What a put, holy shit
Feldberg won an NT in 2012. He won the KCWO over Schusterick and Brinster.

Correct. Dave's Wiki page needs updating. Just sayin'. I should have double checked the info, though. My apologies.
More stunning coverage Marty - well done! Love to see Dave playing well! Those few extra pies must be working for him! ;-) Very happy NOT to see McRobot on the lead card! Our Disc Golf National Tour is still in full swing, with 4 events left to go on the 15-event calendar. We finish the year with the Matchplay champs with the top 16 in Auckland in December, and then we start all over again in February with the 2015 Nationals. Currently I am lying 16th with one tournament less than the other top 16. Goal is higher than 9th, which is where I finished last year. Come on down to New Zealand for some wicked summer golf this winter! We have no poisonous animals, no nasty plants, and no awful insects. But bring sun screen! :) I notice that your "McMobius" flyin is very jerky. ;) This is because your GFx card sucks basically. You can radically improve the quality of the flyin, by filming it very slowly, and then speeding it up in the editor. I use a Space Navigator in Google Earth, and this allows much smoother and more space-ship like movement. You can also hook up a joystick to work with Google Earth, too.
first time i have seen the lead card have all four players be sponsored by different disc companies

Didn't even notice that, that's really cool, really shows that the sport is evolving. And Innova wasn't even one of them, even though I guess you would count Lizotte as an Innova-player even though he sports Discmania-clothing. Afaik he uses Innova discs aswell.

Johan Eriksson He does use Disc Mania discs, but they are pretty similar molds to Innova due to their co-operation.

He has some Innova in his bag aswell though, I know he carries a firebird, pretty sure he has some more Innova aswell. I think there's an in the bag with him on youtube.

Would love to see you play this windy course accurately, bucko. No deuce run for you.
It's a shame Simon gave up 4 strokes in 4 holes, counting the playoff. That putt by Dave on 18 was clutch.
rad
Did Simon just Hyzer Flip a putter 380' at 15:30....?

Jerm's reaction at 22:25 reminds me of a jockey and horse.....YAH!.....YAH!.... GIDDEE-UP!
What's that stuff stuck to Dave at 12:45??? I have never seen anything like it!

Burdocks. Was the plant that helped the guy to invent Velcro after seeing how it sticks to clothes/dogs fur. Is a pain here in New York at almost every course.
That 18th putt was so dirty.
Good for feldberg to win a couple before he retires. Simon will surely have his time in the sun soon enough
Is this the same course used at the 1999 Pro World's Final 9?

+Robert Hertha A missed put after Simon makes his more difficult one. Just venting the frustration. "Can't stop the guy when he is on fire." I really like Feldberg, but this is one of his habits, just his way of fighting stress.
That putt was dirty at 18.
Speaking of Sponsors ... Do these players have have sponcers that pay for them to travel to all these tournaments?

Prodigy helps there players by giving them some cash. innova players have the tour support discs. Latitude im not sure does anything but gives there players discs to do whatever with and doss also has tour support discs

Pretty sure Discmania sponsors Lizotte whole tour in the U.S. this year. He has said that it wouldn't be possible without them in his speech after winning GBO for example. He's done that at other occuations as well. I think Latitude pays David Feldberg a salary, which I'm sure covers travel costs, dunno if they do that with their other US pro's though.

Lizotte had two tour support discs which helped out extremely with his travel costs
want to punch the loud whistling dude.....good lord, every hole
Nice to see Dave not cry like a girl this round when things weren't perfect, sic putt and nice win

So true. Feldberg is not a fun guy to watch play most of the time because of his attitude. This seems to be an issue with more of top players now as well. Kicking the ground, slapping your thigh, punching a tree...all pretty stupid. I love watching a player stay cool and really set the example for pressing through their mistakes instead of self depreciation.

+aaronmizzou i have run into him on a quiet practice round... he was polite, kind and even volunteered to chat. all the while his girlfriend was there and taking her time too. got an autographed Pain now too. :D
Dave coming out of the bush covered in bush. "That's gonna be an issue." Lol. Disc golfer problems.
Watched Simon fall to pieces at the BHMO two weekends before this. He rushes way too much when he gets flustered (no time on the tee pad and poorly selected shots) Great job from Dave tho
NOOOOOOOOOOOO simons ma boy................ feldberg.... .... .. not so much :(

Sukit Biatch Well, with a name like that, who cares what you say?
Does anyone else think this course is a bit...lame for an NT event? Spike hyzer, spike hyzer, spike hyzer...
@aaronmizzou
10 жыл бұрын
I agree that the spike hyzer was too available. It's an established course which is the problem. I do live watching power hyzers over 400' but I dig courses that really have hi risk/ reward for taking that route. I love watching top players be forced to take a flex shot or roller instead of the easy hyzer.

Couldn't agree more. They so needed more mandos in there. I would think the TD of a national tour event could hatch something a little more challenging with all that great landscaping available.

Conor Montague This whole course is pretty open, as it was made from a open farm about 20 years ago. The trees and mounds were added for the 1999 Worlds...if you watch the video from that Worlds, you can see all the lines are matured. Its very windy here because of the open-ness
