Cars.com reviewer Kelsey Mays says the updated-for-2014 Dodge Durango strikes a nice balance between drivability and utility. With subtle, if not scant, exterior-styling updates, most of this large three-row crossover's obvious changes are inside, led by a successful redo of the center controls featuring Chrysler's user-friendly Uconnect multimedia system. Rear legroom and headroom impress, while max cargo space simply blows the competition out of the water. That's in addition to an amply powerful drivetrain, surprising maneuverability, comfortable ride quality and formidable towing capabilities.

Only a stud like Kelsey can review a beast of a car like this one.
Aside from fuel economy, this sounds like a great vehicle for those in need of a family SUV. Never thought I'd say that about Dodge.
the exterior looks bad ass.
I love my Durango. Carrys 3 kids and 4 adults easily .Plenty of head space in the 3rd row too.

There's actually just a little less hp (5) than the Explorer sport, but more Torque (15 ). The Ecoboost makes it down lower in the rev band and weighs a little less, I believe. But with the 8 speed you'd think it would match the 0-60 time, but the Explorer is a little quicker.
I have this Durango I have bought 3 new one's I love the speed nothing can out run this beast. I have had so many complaints on the looks people ask me what size motor I have then they ask please take me for a ride I reach 140 mile's per hr. in.5 seconds & get 400 mile's to a fill up & I don't drive slow. Only two things I didn't like is no cd player & is to Low to the gound u will get stuck in the snow frame is too low. Other wise it's my baby.

Towing and torque. Even the Explorer sport with twin turbos doesn't up the towing any from the base V-6 at 5000lbs. The V-8 Durango has 50% more towing capability. I'm a little bias cause I just got one. If they decide to put the new diesel in the durango, that should up the ante.
can anyone give me a good advice dodge durango 2015 or acura mdx 2015 which is better?
