2014 BEC Full High Definition Super Slow Motion Video
Спорт
Bowlingdigital.com has provided live streaming of the 2014 Brunswick Euro Challeng , one of only two European Bowling Tour Platinum events this season and Europe's richest bowling tournament.
Bowlingdigital's Flavio Cuva proudly presents a Full High Definition Super Slow Motion video featuring some of the best players from Europe and Asia as well as stars from the Professional Bowlers Association.
In the motion picture industry, the standard filming and projection formats are 24 frames per second (fps). Shooting at a frame rate higher than 24 fps would create slow motion when projected.
This video is a quantum leap in tenpin bowling video technology as it was recorded with 200-400 fps (some scenes are edited to up to 2.000 fps). Enjoy!

Very well done to be able to watch 23 minutes of slow motion and not be bored. You did a great job.
This is a great great video. Thank you. For someone starting out, seeing the releases and follow throughs in super slo-mo was very helpful.
Loved the fact that no time was wasted. The cuts from regular to slow-motion during a shot were epic. Just....beautiful. Very very well done. Thank you!
Best bowling motivation video in the World :D

Finally, a slo mo vid that really lets you get a great look at the release, now if only it wasn't loaded with so much wasted footage.

fred0447 I enjoyed the rest. Let's you see who the bowler was if there was certain release you really like.
I live for these slow motion videos! You guys make the best one on the world wide web!!
This video has helped me so much more than any instructional video I've seen. Beautiful work, well done.
This is what I've been looking for! Great job!
This is the best slow motion release video ive ever seen. Great job!
Wow, my music is here ! :)
I have been trying to find a detailed video on hand position and how to release my bowling bowl for a hook and finally I found it! Thank you!!!
Honestly, this helped way more than someone just trying to explain it to me.
Best bowling video ive found so far. thank you
I could freakin watch this all day
Very Good!!! I will share it on my Facebook page. Thank you for the good information.
How was this filmed 6 years ago and it's still the best slo mo bowling video all around in 2021
A picture worth a thousand words was never more true than this video.
I've watched 20 million videos on how to properly generate rev rate and how to release the ball this video should be on EVERYBODYS bowling tutorial channel. this IS the best video on youtube !! I promise you! i finally get the whole yoyo thing damn!
I love this. I wish you'd do some slow-motion shots of the spare (straight ball) release. Some of the kids I coach could really benefit from seeing that, too.
Fantastic video , there some things that can't be taught or explained , but this video was informative encouraging and an eye opener
In my head, I swear I'm releasing the ball the very same way. My revs say otherwise.
Excelente, gracias.
Very good video! I’m on my school’s bowling team and I’m learning to get better.
Great job!

How did this get dislikes? I mean seriously this video is really cool, and can help those who want to see a Pro hook/curve a ball. If it's the choice of music, just mute the video, open another tab, and play something you do like.

It's all the wasted footage. This could be a great teaching aid, if it wasn't mostly bowlers walking back and pins flying. Who cares about that? I just wanted to study release methods. Very aggravating video to say the least.

@@fred0447 the looks on their faces are priceless. second best part of the video. the ball motion is important too. i want to see what the minor differences cause in the balls. the pinfall is just there for context for when they start screwing up their faces.
this video is very helpful

Great tool for bowling,i check it all the time before bowing
Damn I never noticed how high the pros raise the ball on the back swing, gonna try that out next time I'm at the alley.
thanks to this video. now i can do the hook
@jdm2626

Did this actually help? I'm trying to learn how to do that but the instructional videos aren't helping me. I'd thought by watching how Pro's do it in slow motion (or anyone who can hook the ball/curve) maybe I can mimic it somewhat.

Have your thumb at 2:00 position and your fingers at 4:00 position throughout the backswing and forward to the point of release. Once the ball gets pass your sliding heel, let your thumb release. For a moment you will feel the weight of the ball on your fingers. Lift the ball through the release and you will create the hook. I know I did it right when I can feel my fingers lifting and imparting a one to two inch spin on the ball with my hand still in the position that I described at the beginning. That is what you see the pros doing in this vid. I hope this helps.

@@vaporfreedom In your opinion, not mine. THIS is what a good release video looks like. I couldn't care less about what pins flying and bowlers walking look like. When I search out a video on "slow motion bowling releases", that's all I'm interested in watching. kzread.info/dash/bejne/m6hr1a-wcqfgZ9I.html
Anyone have any good cues for a good, correct release?
16:43 watte hell ? How he do that ? The last finger comes in when he release the ball . Amazing dude
Смотрю и наслаждаюсь.Класс!!
Great video. I always thought the hand would be under the ball until the lowest part of the swing but clearly, that's not what happens.... only if you use both hands to support the weight of the ball all way down. Like tennis backhands and topspin shots, there's a nifty sweet way to do it .. and like tennis two-handed backhands, it looks kinda awkward to use both hands unless you learn like that since you was a kid...

Hand goes inside swing plane at the top, wrist cocked at 45 degrees at the ankle, then straighten your hand out in a snapping yoyo motion. Follow through palm updingers should rotate from 7 o’clock to two o’clock when the thumb comes out. The faster you do this, the more revs you impart.
Dream Bowl Palace in Munich is pretty nice! It's all so new and shiny :D Great Video! Give lot's of informations about throwing/hooking! Sry for english-Skills, I'm only a german Guy (not the nazi-one)

I have seen a number of your videos showing bowlers for a tournament. I think it would be better if you show who the bowler is before the release. Many times I would have to go back to see the release again after I know who the bowler is.

But it's like a game this way! Guess the bowler! No finger inserts? Might be Rash. Sarge Easter grip? Definitely Fagan.

Anyone notice on some, their pinkies are tucked in?
The music sounds like bong rips!
I’m new to bowling and I’m tripping out here. Is the pinky finger not wrapped around the ball? I see it tucked in.
9:32 Mike Fagan full approach in slow mo. His release is the clip before. Man, if I could have one person's physical game, it would be Fagan. He looks like he was born to do this.

this is one way to find out how to throw the ball properly...I can throw it in a normal manner I'm just here to see how to put spin on it...I have my own way but it looks awkward and doesn't hook at all...going on 18 and getting 70s or higher everytime so I'm around the average...no way in hell I'll get a 300 but I'm learning...self taught mind you...found a technique that got me at least average and stuck to it, I noticed a few flaws in the way I throw but they're minor and easy to fix...will head up to the alley tomorrow and iron those out

It's an effect due to the fact that the action is slowed down and the sine wave doesn't sync. Electrical current in America is 60 cycles or hertz, thus causing the flickering effect.

This video really shows what the modern bowling ball has done to the game. Few bowlers today seem to have a true traditional release with the fingers under the ball and then releasing through it, letting the ball do most of the work. Most of what I see now is twisting of hands and side action trying to produce revs or steering of the ball towards the pocket. Yes this produces dancing pins and some exciting strikes but slight hiccups in the delivery produce some horrendous splits. My 25+ year old urethane ball ay seem primitive to the youth of today but when that ball rolls through the pocket and the pins are vacuumed into the pit it just feels right. Anyone who has thrown a ball like that knows what I mean.
