Is it a good idea to let the fuel tank run out and then refill it or when it reaches the middle?

I have a 2014 Crafter. Steam out of the motor is normal

is there still place that would lease these? Me and my bro dream of a crafter but just cannot afford to pay up to 3/4K at this minute

I used 3/4 of a tank to do 60 miles return trip is that a lot of petrol when it was a full tank ?
