I’m very tempted by one but I’ve heard scary things about the reliability of the fuel pump and injectors on the 170. I’m probably going to stick to kate 07/08 as I’m sure vw sorted issues relating to this. Currently have a mk4 pd130 n I’m going to miss the incredible mpg 😭

My golf gt late 2005/06 model 2.0 tdi has an armrest and one of em fancy cup holder sliding covers beside the brake handle. How come this newer 2007 version dosent have any of that? that seems odd. Its like its going backwards.

armrest was possibly an extra, apart from that im at a loss, car manufacturers do stupid things

Mine has coming home lights when i bought it the owner said it was part of luxury pack or winter pack

Who is better with 140 hp or 170, i heard 170 hp have problems?

both are great, havent really heard anything about problems with the 170 bhp, and we would certainly buy one

ive the 170 bhp full leather 08 plate cracking car besides the 170 came with the DPF which is a nightmare... Oh and all mk5s have leaky boot issues just like the mk6s n mk7s do
