There's no power liftgate button for the highlander on the outside. atleast in canada, the button to open it by power is on the keyfob. Otherwise the button on the trunnk is to open it manually.

Good job. It helps me make my decision on buying highlander. But I am still juggling between Siena and highlander. Cargo space is #1 thing in my list.

Recently purchased the australian kluger model. It's a good car. I couldn't work out how to use the power lift gate from the outside either. There's definitely two buttons but can't work it out
