It’s crazy how many times in SLS contests, the commentators say “oh, he’s doing pretty good on this one” and then the skaters fall 2 seconds later 🤣

the judges were high that day!!
luan got ripped on his second run those judges should of been charged with a crime for giving him that low ass score
With every SLS i watch I am more and more convinced the judges smoke crack in between the runs and tricks.

I think it's because the "Meta" changes every year. What scored you a 9 in 2013 will only get you a 7 in 2021 so......

@@spitwicked6188 in what universe is a blunt kickflip worth more than a Tre flip noseblunt?
Luans second run an 8.2 what in the absolute fuark is that. That was easily a 9 club run. What a joke judging is. Decent tech, fantastic transition skating really nailed the whole park. The instant scoring here is really horrible for the skaters.
Watched this live and today, cried both times when Chris's kids ran out. Best moment in sports. Skaters make great dads!!!

I noticed that too. Complete disappointment.
This is when skating was changing. Chris cole off fallen and on dc, also left zero for plan b... p rod left plan b to start primitive.. in the next year the new gen skaters like Kelvin hoefler, yuto, chris joslin, and gustavo Ribeiro will up the game completely by doing tricks never seen before.. IN A COMPETITION! Absolutely incredible time in skate history
53:40 a beautiful moment!
Man, what did Luan do to these judges to deserves those scores? More importantly, what didn't Malto do to these judges (if you know what I mean)?
A lot of inconsistency with the judging, but this is a well deserved win for Chris
Chris Coles tre noseblunt at 22:00 is an example of a perfect trick WITH STYLE. these newer skaters do it like robots with no style at all. Such an amazing skater.
Koston: 'And by the way, you won!' Great dude!
It’s such a trip coming back to these comps. Everyone looks so young & seeing some of these highest scoring tricks becoming a normal trick in a run. Wild!
*_Finally Cole_* 😭
Nollie cab lip slide a 9.4. These days Hoefler and Yuto doing this in their runs 😆

Triple C is such a beast. My second favorite skater of all time. What a lad
Chris cole deserved this win so much. Cool dude.
Imagine gustavo ribeiro skating these small rails
quarentine vibe
Chris definitely deserved an sls win. Hands down one of the best all around skateboarders in the world when it comes to his bag of tricks. I dont think anyone could beat him in a game of park SKATE even today
0:56 this needs to be a show!
I'd love to see Andy Anderson in the SLS... just imagine the judges underscoring all these sick long smith grinds or 50-50s FF impossibles out...
28:30 flip nose-slide 270 shove out 8.5???
Torey pudwill damn.... Watchin it all its my second day 😂

Malto got boned on his score for the 1st run. He had overcrook 180 out(frontside & backside), switch bs smith, bs noseblunt, nollie nose grind & not a single bail. At a minimum he should’ve gotten 8.9 or even a 9. He did everything super smooth too. That 8.5 was a slap 👋 in the face Edit: D@mn they did Luan just as bad. 8.2🤨
