I really appreciate the fact that you provide each of the qualifying round names and et's plus final round names and et's. It gives a much better picture of who is in which position. This video was very professional in every respect, every bit as good as anything the old 'Diamond P Sports' used to put on television. And bonus -- no commercial breaks to slow down the action! awesome vid,. fuel altereds bring me back to the 60s sitting on my dads tail gate, up against the cyclone fence at the Fremont raceway watching all the different classes blast down the track. the smell of fuel, rubber and bleach. nothing like it!!

I will always love those fuel altereds. Far cry from the good old days when they were outright deadly beasts. Back then it took a suicidal minded daredevil to pilot them. Good thing is, today they have much more safety built into them and they are still a thrill to watch. Thanks for posting. It was well worth the time to watch.

Love the Fuel Altereds. I remember seeing 20 fuel Alterds at the old Tucson dragway in Arizona. Back then, it was guard rail to guard rail racing. Love it.

How can these guys walk with balls that big, this is some scary stuff!

insurance under writers are the ones that shorten the race track, plus new technology has made the cars so fast, they cant slow down before running out of track, I guess thats one reason NHRA shortened the track to 1000 ft, 340 mph is hard to slow down, ever seen a chute shred itself?

Why in the pre-final did Massy WIN with a slower time of 3.869 over Ferris with a faster time of 3.690? It was also shown Ferris didn't jump the light?

I love the AA/Altereds. Just got to see some of them run here last weekend. To bad these are only 1/8 mile races. They ran the whole 1/4 mile about 230+ awesome!! They have a 6:00 index. 1/8 mile is kinda boring.

At 23:22 was the worst reaction time yet lol.

That was actually a Gal, the crew was upset because the Pro Mod wouldn't stage and was burning their engine down. If you'll watch the Altered was staged for over 30 seconds and the Pro Mod never turned his prestage light on. Note the Altered ate a piston at 300'

Awesome camera work & killer *SS cars BUT 1/8th mile blows!!!!!! The fans really got screwed out of there money at this event

i hate that they shortened the track... one accident does need to change the whole rulebook it could of happened to anybody

?.. the only track shortening that was done was in NHRA, and that was only for the T/F classes. This track you're watching is simply an 1/8th mile track.

Ya huh. I would like to see the ones they outlawed and then brought back. Barely stayed on the track, awesome show. Although the Pro Mods are close. Just got back from watching AA/Supercharged and nostalgia cars at our local track which is a 1/4 mile track.
