I love the way these dragsters shake the air around them. There is nothing more awesome than a blown nitro engine roaring down the track!!

I now live a long way from any drag strip, I like my quiet little country town. But I grew up go to Pomona, Bakersfield, Sonoma, Sacramento, you name it in California. My dad took me everywhere there was racing,even Sprint Cars.

God, your videos are so damn good! I really wish You released videos more frequently!! I'll go back and watch videos like this from years back and love every second of it

I love the top ends shots in this video, because you can hear the sounds of the engines in the shutdown area. To me those are some of the coolest sounds, & are rarely heard.

Definitely some hairy moments during Nostalgia Top Fuel; they are the most exciting cars in drag racing to watch at the top end....also I was up on a ladder.

Back when funny cars actually looked like the street cars they were based on.

Great Action Love It !!! This is the way Drag Racing was meant to be !!!

Coolest thing is seeing the run filmed from the camera mounted up high at the end of the track. A whole new perspective, especially on Sound. And you can see just how fast the cars accelerate this way. Where when you watch the cars leave the starting line, you don't get this perspective at all.

Adam Sorokin's father, Mike, won the March meet in 1966. He drove "The Surfers", AA/FD.

At exactly 13:20 in the video someone(Dan Horan Jr) stays on the Loud pedal for an extra 500 feet +/-!!!!!! This is best drag racing footage I have ever seen.

I really want to see a meet like that here in the Northeast, preferably at our track (New England Dragway). I remember alot of these cars(the originals) when I was a kid and my dad used to run a BB/GD and I remember push starting it! LOL! We've got a Nostalgia meet with some pretty good cars now but not like this I don't think.
