Man there's nothing cheap anymore lol but that being said, you usually get what you paid for and of all the trailer manufactures I looked at in our area N&N had the best quality built trailers. From the welds to the wiring. It was very well done.

Thanks Scott. Yes the ramps are laid on the bar going across the back of the trailer but there's another bar on the ramps that keep them in place when in use. This one don't have drop legs but can easily be added. I doubt they would be needed in my case. This trailer won't be used for transporting anything other that stone, gravel or maybe the Kubota ZTR. As for the steel. I use Steel Fab or Russell Metal.

Thanks Larry. No room under this one for the ramps. Most of the ones around these parts have them on the fenders. I haven't had a chance to get into that aspect of it yet. No it don't have an isolator. The trailer is set up with that charging wire but no isolator. It will have one now though thanks to you.I appreciate the tip.

What a great idea in galvanized. Along with a telescoping cylinder. Man that could not have been cheap. But Im sure it will last a long time.

Man I would love one of those handy piece of equipment put one of those led strips along the back from corner to corner the red ones that people put under the tailgates of their pickup trucks great for safety just catches people's eyes really sharp trailer love the additions didn't take you long haha

  • @7863348

Ya I got one of those strips under my tailgate. They're cool but really low for the trailer. I put a high mount one on the Miller welding trailer that I built that works well.

Paul, Great Videos. May want to put steel guard brackets around those aftermarket lights. Seems anything mounted high on trailers always ends up getting "kissed" by loads and front end loaders etc... Keep the great videos coming!

Leo I wanted a maintenance free trailer. Everything else was powder coated and I HATE powder coating to no end. Even the new powder coated ones on the lot were peeling. I don't like welding zinc plated either ;( I should need to weld this one with the way It's built. Great looking welds and well built. Thanks!

Paul Short I'm sure if you weld it you use a zinc bar on the hot weld to coat it, need lots of fresh air and drink milk before and after welding zinc. Copper welding is worse, the copper will attack your nervous system if you don't have the proper breathing apparatus. Looks like a very well built trailer.

I'm picking up another trailer for tractor and ZTR transporting.

  • @Chiefbuzzbee

How did I miss this one? I have been looking at a dump trailer for the place and work I have been doing so not to have to travel the tractor all over on the road. I was looking over a Hawk 14,000 so I could haul just about any tools with th tractor or product for dumping such as landscaping or wood and such, I like what you have done to it and with the lights, like being seen when out and about don't want getting hit from the side or rear, The trailer I looked over put their ramps under the frame and pulled out easy. I really liked it 8" frame channel built and really heavy duty to last. But my pocket book says more like a car trailer no dump but as time goes we will see how many job I get that pay..... I can get all the free one I can afford to buy fuel for now...Lol

Thanks Jerry. These dump trailers are sure handy. This one was built in Quebec and I just love the quality. It's all galvanized and should lady a lifetime. I could have mounted the ramps under the trailer but didn't want to weld on the galvanized metal so I mounted the ramps on the side of the trailer. There's another video showing the first dump of the trailer with the ramps mounted. The ramps I showed in this video were steel but I built two new ramps out of aluminum after that were much lighter and I can get the BX25-D in great with them. I also installed a wireless remote on the trailer which is great. They're not cheap. This one cost $8400. but the first three weeks we had it we hauled 55 loads of material with it. Hope you get one. You'll love it.

Realy nice trailer! Im am looking for a trailer like that with tipp but they are realy pricey here in Norway about 24500CAD(Ifor William trailers), and they can only load 2240kilos. But the N&N trailer what is the loading limit on that? And can you have a wireless remote? :) - Bjorn

Thanks man. I'm really not sure. I know I can legally tow this trailer with a 1/2 ton truck. Anything larger requires permits and extra licensing,

bud moore Look at all the trailers that UHall has. What are they? They are galvanized. Why are they galvanized? Because they last a lifetime. That's why I went the way I did. I still have the truck and if I need to hall something I simply back up to the trailer. A dumps truck requires far more maintenance, inspections, licensing fee's and I don't have the need for a dedicated truck. Works for me.

Great looking trailer. Been looking at them as well. Couple of questions. Are the ramps just laid on the trailer or are they some how hooked on to the rear lip? Also do you have drop legs to stabilize the rear of the trailer for loading and unloading of the tractor? And last question is where do you buy your metal from? I have been buying it mostly from Dominion on Empire Ave and some from Steel Fab in Paradise.

Nice trailer there Wildfire, I see someone already commented about hanging the ramps underneath, thats where my son in law has his mounted. Does this trailer have a isolater system on the battery? My sil's was factory set with a charging wire thru the trailer plug that was not isolated so if you didn't unplug from the tow vehicle before activating the hyd pump it would try to also draw power from the truck battery and overload the curcuit.

Thanks. KZread has been dropping subscribers on everyone lately and no one understands why. Had a friend ask me why I wasn't subbed to his channel and I told him I was and when I went to check I had to re-subscribe. Very strange. Two weeks ago we had a thief steal 39 of our videos and it took me a week back and forth with KZread to stop that person. KZread is becoming to much work these days. Thanks. Hope the link helped.
