How much did they charge you to change it? I did it myself but the part was $300.00 after taxes. I was grateful for the dealer having the part, but I probably could have shopped around.

Im right or the old vaccum pump have the oil feed nipple broken (the little plastic thingy between the two rectangular pieces that attach to the camshaft ). Btw the thanks for the video its the same procedure for the w203 2004 year

What size torque wrench are us using or what would be best for a 2012 c250 ?

I may have to replace this also .. seeing my damn brake pedal is hard as a rock ...

How Many vacuum pump at Engine M271 evo as i know one for the break booster but i don't know where the one for the Engine

If you still have this car around, I would greatly appreciate a video on how to change the coolant thermostat. Or alternatively, if you can point me to a set of instructions somewhere. The thermostat is relatively superficial, but is blocked by quite a few tubes and stuff, not sure where to start with removing things. Thanks

@@TexThaiAuto Thanks man that video does help actually. There's just that fat turbo pipe in the way which appears to be my first step, and you already had that removed at the start of your video haha. Thanks though, I'll try to figure it out

You gotta press on the little clamp things. There’s one on each side press them down together and pull it it’s like a safety lock

What wrench/tool did u use to unscrew and screw the vacuum pump? And can I use the same thing for a c250 2012 model ?

1/4 inch drive ratched with e10 1/4 inch socket is the only way that will not be troublesome

I have a 2011 C250. I get rattle noise when i apply the brakes. Would replacing this part help it? Can you tell me the OEM part number for it so i could replace it

I always use new on customer vehicles but on my own personal if the gasket is metal (like this one) and in good condition then I can sometimes get away with reusing and adding permatex shellac.

Where is the location of pcv valve on this car model. Need info pls

I believe it is on the back of the right cylinder head but if not then possibly on the valve cover. A google search will tell you.

First see if the leak is coming from the back of the pump or where it meets the motor. If it’s only leaking where it meets then you can replace the gasket but I’ve seen many leak from the back of the pump itself and that requires replacing the whole thing. However I’ll go ahead and mention that some companies sell gaskets for vacuum pumps. I’ve seen some for VW and Land Rover but never checked for Mercedes.

Depending on mileage.. maybe timing chain?
