All the commenters, please accept: At this level of playing, there is no 'better' or 'worse' in the artists abilities. There is just a 'I like this one more' or 'I like that one less', as it is a matter of taste. Who is entitled to rank this kind of musicians? Let's just enjoy the beauty which is given to us by these incredible people.

Please someone tell Ignasi Terraza how much we enjoy that Bach-type canon and how we hope he will play it again and again whenever Andrea sings this wonderful song. My wife and I listen to this over and over!

I may not live long enough to meet all these impossibly wonderful musicians, so suffice it to say, you have all blown my mind after a life of watching, waiting, practicing, giving up, starting over and finally leaving it all to the professionals. This may be the best band of consummate musicians on the earth. Praise and thank you so much. God Bless you all. True Love ...

Joan Chamarro has outdone himself with this rendition of one of my favorite jazz pieces...bravo for all you have done to refurbish jazz for this generation and for us old guys who thought perhaps jazz was dying! Jesus Christ! Mr. Chamorro, what beauty have you introduced to the world! I came here looking for Lullaby of Birdland. It's on of my favorites and I guess we all know the versions sung by Ella Fitzgerald, wich I thought was one of the very very few valid interpretations. No, I am not going to compare Ella to Andrea now as this would be very unfair for both of them. But let me put it this way: I have seen interpretations of well known international singers, superstars, divas, to wich only two words came to my mind: complete fail. But back to my story. Maybe I got to say in advance I did not know any of you or the Band. Shame on me. So now, that I have been around YT looking for different interpretations than Ella's, I found this. First thing I thought was "wow, there is someone knowing how to play the piano". And while I listened, I recognized a girl on stage holdig a Trumpet. Okay, I thought. One of the musicians brought his daughter on stage to hold his Trumpet because it's too valuable to him to put it on a stand on the ground. And, all of a sudden, the "girl" started to sing... BOY! WAS! I! WRONG!! I literally backfliped over the backrest of my office chair in amazement. What absolute fantastic singing! Andrea might not have the strongest voice B U T she has something much more valuable: an indescribably laid back timing and an absolute feeling for the music and control over her voice. And as I felt my bloodpressure rise, just at the right time before having a heartattac, Scott Hamilton came and put me back to normal again. Do I have to mention Andreas Trumpet playing? May be just this much: out of this world. I really can hear it's not just some well trained muscle moves, but it's pure feeling for what she is doing. She knows when to let go and when to catch it again. Please excuse me for not mentioning all of you namely, bu I am running out of superlatives to describe what I heard and saw. It was great joy to see and hear you all, how you contributed to something that is much much bigger than the sum of its individuals. You all matched perfectly on stage and obvioulsy enjoyed yourselfs very much, at least you smling says so. And you Sir, Mr. Chamorro, made all this possible by bringing these individuals together! Greatly done and thank you very very much.

Isn't it, though? Very beautiful classy rendition as is Andreas in a different way. Perhaps some do not know the song was composed by a blind English jazz composer, George Shearing to honor the Manhattan jazz club, Birdland. I saw him twice at that famous jazz venue. Andrea will no doubt perform there if she wishes... My own sense: Andrea's talent lies substantially in Communication. I hope you take in her performance here. It was right before she had her baby. It's the great American standard by Oscar Levant. "Blame It On My Youth." I have never heard a more beautiful vocal rendition of Any Song. I was stunned. The subtle improvisations and matchless phrasing she has were all over that performance.

One of the best "bebop" jazz group nowadays, Andrea is wonderful, both as for the voice and the trumpet (and sax) playing, and here we have as a guest Scott Hamilton, a real master sax. The piano assolo of Ignasi Terraza is astonishing with his original starting "fugue" style. The fantastic sound of this group remember me the famous words of Charlie Parker: "It's just music, it's playing clean and looking for the pretty notes".
