The power mirror controls on this are the exact same as on the Volvo S80 from 1999 back when Ford owned Volvo and Jaguar, it's insane to see that switch again, I remember it so well because it was prone to breaking because the joystick part would split in half a lot

On the X350 XJ Jaguar used the same controls for electric windows as the Transit van had. I'd still love to have an XJ like that. It was the last Jaguar that still looked like a proper Jag.

My 2014 Jaguar XJR with 39,000 miles doesn't do this squeaky thing. I just bought mines a wwwk ago, and I love it !

The buttons actually sound nice but got ruined by the squeaky panel behind it.

Definitely looks nice, but like Mercedes, it suffers from the whole "looking good, but feels cheap" persona. Jaguar's of the recent have always had this about them. Shame. I'd pick an A8 or LS over this.

This car is such a best kept secret. Especially the V8. Where else can you get a back massage while listening to crackle & pop exhaust sounds as you blast down the road?

I think around this time, Jag was owned by Ford, and Ford is notorious for its squeaky cars. My 2001 Mustang convertible I think must have had a Mach sound system just to drown out all the squeaks going over bumps...or sitting down. That's definitely a Ford squeak.

Even tho this seems nicer I’d still prolly take the XK over this, I’m considering one in the future.

I feel disappointed. My 20-year-old X-type enjoys a much more solid interior, let alone a squeaky armrest with a Motorola handset inside.

That's crazy an almost decade old Jag gets higher quality and fit scores than a 2019 Audi or Benz. I could never prove it but I swear the BMWs I bought in the mid-90s and early 00s were far better interior materials and construction. I don't even think you could get a BMW in 2000 that didn't have real leather seats.

Nice design but the same problem like Benz very cheap materials und extrem shiity prosessd.

I'm not bashing but in all honesty I'm not really seeing what's accomplished here other than putting abnormal stress on all of the interior parts, panels, buttons and components. I understand these videos are supposed to indicate the overall quality of the interiors but most of the videos I've watched on this channel all have similar results with numerous squeaks & groans (including Lexus & Audi vehicles which are traditionally known for outstanding interior quality), so what exactly does this prove? Unless the interior parts are riveted solid steel I think it's fair to assume they'll groan like this when putting abnormal stress on them, but does that mean they'll squeak & rattle while driving? I'd say squeaks & rattles while driving is what will truly indicate interior buiild quality of a vehicle. I'm just making an honest observation here, not hating.
