I had exactly same symptoms as yours. BCM is like old Motorola, need patience get slowly and wait. It start as in your case: in last moment.You have to try near all important settings till it unblock. Important keep your laptop carged and car battery connectect to power supply to have around 13V at least.

I THINK his mistake was at 20,28 where the prompt asked "is ignition on". He *probably* should've pressed the ignition on and then pressed the green tick instead of aborting via the red "X". This would've taken him to the next step(s) which would've been verification of the keys, that procedure part of the process. Just theorizing - I've been hesitating on making duplicate keys for a long time, researching...

​@@BestCarFixes I've just downloaded version 164 of sdd the latest but on service functions configure new instrument cluster and immobiliser are not there for some reason.

Yes i change the kvm and program 2 keys from after market one but is better to have original remote

Ah ok because if I inderstood according your last video, KVM & key replacement solve the open/close by the key but still no engine start. My problème is a little different : no problem with the key and ignition. Everything work but no start. First push on strat button without pushing foot brake -> ignition ON without fault light or message Second puush on start button with foot brake pushed -> ignition OFF in stead of engine starting. I checked starter relay is OK. The battery is a new one (Varta 95A). I m waiting a professionnal diag scanner like yours to check if there are some DTC. Also, after ignition ON, you well hear the fuel pump sound so the fuel reach the injectors. As my 2 keys works well to open/close, I don't think I have a KVM problem

Hi i just came across your channel im having the same issue with a 09 xf ordered aftermarket bcm still not working, finally took to stealership they ordered Rfa &2 keys for 2100 tried to program the keys with the bcm i had bought it didn't work now they tell me i need to get a bcm from someone because jaguar no longer sells &they're not allowed to reprogram used parts so they refunded 944.00 for keys and not the other part im at a lost im in north Carolina and cant find anyone to fix my car please can you help me😢😢😢😢
