'13 Taurus owner here. Why did they bother making the headlights so easy to replace, but make the small bulbs that'll pop when your headlights go so difficult? This was on my list of "next weeked" problems, but it's seeming like a "if someone says something about it" problem now. Wish I'd done it when I had the wheels off to do the brakes.

I guess that I'm the only one dumbfounded that a light that has no bearing on safety, or driving stop you from passing your inspection.

So I have a police interceptor version and there's 2 holes in my headlights where the light is

I do believe you're supposed to remove the front bumper. That way you can reach it.... pain in the ass both ways yes.

I used a pair of long neck needle nose pliers to pull it out

Led lights going in on both outside lights

How did you fit ur hand up there

A long handled bent needle nose pliers.

A pain in the azz but i did it after trying multiple times. Be careful when taking out the little bulb, pry it slowly with something rather than pulling it out with fingers.

I think it would be easier to make the light assembly to pop out -- LIKE EVERYONE ELSE-Ford.

Don't listen to this... I just did mine... come from the front. Like your trying to change the oil ... and reach for it... and do it from that way... 5 minutes instead of 30 to 45 minutes....

@@thenissitissitpantologist1905 he’s not wrong. Your method is f’ing stupid. The passenger side is a simple reach in. The drivers side you remove the airbox which is a 4 minute job and then you reach in as well. 😂 You did all that work lmao.

Second, you can't "reach in," and get the parking lamp out, even after pulling the airbox, AND the breaker box top. Can't be done on the 2013 thru 2020. Keep working on your Chevette and stay out of grown folks conversations, hotshot
