Let's go for a POV drive in my 2013 Shelby GT500. The sound is brought to you by a Borla ATAK exhaust. The car is mostly stock except for the exhaust and the removed air silencer on the intake.
The car is a 2013 Shelby GT500. It has 662HP 631ft/lb and does 0-60 in 3.5 seconds and is capable of reaching 200mph. It comes with a supercharger that produces 14psi of boost. This car has the SVT Performance Package which includes an adjustable suspension and also was purchased with Recaro seats.
Driving it around, you can definitely feel the rawness of the car. Not only do you hear the exhaust and feel the vibrations of the big 5.8 engine, but you also feel every defect in the road giving you that really connected feeling.

My dream car when it's comes to Ford, i remember having a bedroom poster of it as well. This car is considered the last proper mustang with a live rear axle, it's great to see these rare supercharged beast being used, instead of sitting in the garage for years.

Same! I try to drive it at least every other week when I can. It may not be a long drive but I enjoy it.

It definitely is really fun to drive around. I just started driving it again recently now that I've finished up some other projects. I've only put 10k on it since new!
i’m 15 and don’t know too much about cars. so do you only press the clutch after you go down and up shifting or after every single shift? and also is there a way to either make to make it automatic or have paddle shifters? i’m not sure if they have any automatic models with the 2013-14 mustangs. thank you.

Hey @jayy, thanks for watching! You press the clutch before you move the gear shifter. You should wait until the clutch is fully pressed in, move the gear shifter, and then release the clutch, then step on the gas. The Shelby was 6 Speed manual only but the 2013/2014 Mustang and Mustang GT both had automatic options. They are great cars!

There are one thing I didn’t understand about this model of gt500s its the rpm settings for launch control some 13 14 gt500s can mange the rpm from 2400-5200 and there are a same 13 14 models can mange it only from 3000-4500 rpm

The 2014 had the cobra. The 2013 just had the horse.

Yes! There are slight differences between the two cars. I believe the other is the door sills on the 2013 say "20th anniversary" on the door sills where the 2014 say SVT on them.
What’s the mpg on that beast 🤩

Depends on how I drive it! Usually ends up 13-15MPG.

Doesn't sound much louder than stock

Outside the car it is. The sound deadening in the car is pretty good. I'm surprised at how loud the ATAK is. I want to switch to something louder than stock but quieter than this.

Yes. They definitely are very loud at wide open throttle.

Yes. The rest of the exhaust and car is stock. I'm only running the ATAK mufflers. Rest of the system is stock.
